Alone in Icecrown

"If you're sure..." Raydex hissed. "I don't have riding gear. I need to get myself a gryphon..." She hopped onto Raptor-dormi's back, and headed for the CoTD Building.

((No offense Sat, but Indi's already down and dying. XD I had her calm down after she got Faron unconscious since the blood powers using her have no use for a dead body.))

Alarial--CotD Building

Alarial saw Decay break free of her ice block finally. A small bit of hope and joy crept into her. "Thank Elune!" she murmured, debating whether or not to try and use her healing spells on the death knight. Seeing the creepy gnome start a portal spell, she ran over to where Indi lay on the ground, trying to figure out how she could aid the fallen knight.

((Oh. Didn't see that. That... Renders my post useless. Crud.))

Azu and Koz
CotD Building

Azunara hissed quietly, now that the battle was over, she was ready to drop. Still. "We left them," She said, referring to Ray and Death. "I should go get them, lead them back here." She panted, looking in poor condition to do much walking, nevermind flying.

((Blargh. Sorry you two for kind of leaving you stranded out there. >.> But you're heading back, right Ray?))

Alarial--CotD Building

Alarial shook her head. "No offense, but no one here is in the best condition to go get the others. They had plenty of time to follow you and Indi here."
She looked back at the death knight in despair. "I don't know how to help Indi..."

Decay - CotD building

Decay walked over to Indi slowly, looking as if she would topple over at any moment. She squatted down nex t the death knight, and talked to her quietly. "Don't let the runes control you, you control the runes."

Indigosa--CotD Building

Indi looked up at Decay, vision blurred, gasping for breath as blood spilled from her throat. "I'm...in control...for now," she said in a raspy whisper. "I just...can't decide...whether to die...or not." Her eyes closed and her breathing slowed.

Alarial--CotD Building

Alarial began to panic as Indi closed her eyes. She put her hands on each side of the death knight's face and began a healing chant, she tried to focus her entire being into breathing for Indi and keeping the elf alive.

Decay - CotD

"Priest, try the Shadow instead. It would be more effective. I'll go heal myself.", she muttered, and walked over to a demon knight. She chopped off one of it's hands with a sword and started eating, tearing I to the flesh ferociously.

Azunara
CotD Building

"I can try as well? My magic is more nature-based than light based. Really it just involves transferring energy from one source to another..." Azunara said, slowly making her way over to Indi as well.

Alarial--CotD Building

"The Shadow?" she whispered, a shudder running through her body. "By Elune, I don't know if I can bring myself to do that."

Azunara
CotD Building

"Let me try," She said, slowly shifting out with a look of intense focus. She first planted a seed in the ground, the flowers sprouting around her once more. She stole their energy, and added whatever reserves of her own, to Indi instead. She leeched off Kozri's energy, and likely stole a bit off the others around her, unable to control the sources.

Finally, too tired to even shift back, she slid to the ground, unconscious.

Indigosa--CotD Building

Indi groaned at the healing from Azu. The deep bite marks on her neck slowly began to seal, but didn't fully heal. Her whole body felt heavy and she couldn't move. She couldn't even do the simple task of opening her eyes, of speaking to tell the others to stay away from her. She felt weak and pitiful.

Alarial--CotD Building

She didn't know what to do. Panic raced through her. Decay said to use the shadow, the very thing she had sworn against by becoming a priestess of Elune. Alarial felt helpless and began crying.

(Yes, I'm heading back, slowly. Stupid papers. And camping.)

"Hurry up."

The building was in sight, thankfully; it was a little warmer, probably, and Epidormi was cold.

Faron, Gyrochopter

Faron and Vallrok, materializing on the gyrochopter, were still unconscious. The wolf's fur was beginning to gather electricity again. He was probably going to wake up soon.

((*tries to rezz thread.*))

Azu and Kozri
CotD Building

Kozri recovered first, having more stamina and being out longer than Azu. The human slowly got up, groaning. Multiple joints hurt, everything hurt, but that wasn't so important. Alarial was sobbing, Azunara was out, and Indi was slowly dying. He cursed, having used the potions earlier. At best, he had some bandages.

Carefully, painfully, he made his way to the few supplies he and Azu carried around, rooting through the bags. Food. Cookies. Herbs and vials and-there. Poorly made and unraveling were some Frostweave Bandages. They were pathetic and wouldn't do much, and the healing energy in them might have faded, but they'd do.

He returned over to Indi, and offered a few to Alarial. "You're probably better than I am at this." He said, kneeling down to try and wrap some of Indi's wounds.

((Sorry, I keep reading the other RP threads and seeing how much dragon characters seem to be hated and I've been in a dilemma of whether or not just to kill Indi even though my boyfriend and I spent so much time developing her story and making sure she'd fit in with the lore. I was so excited to find somewhere I was comfortable to test her and RPing out and now I just feel kinda bad; I have so much fun with her. ))

Alarial--CotD Building

In a daze she took the bandages from Kozri and started wrapping Indi's wounds. In the death knight's unconscious state, she somehow managed to utter a few words in a language Alarial didn't understand. A bloody red, weak heal went up around Indi and her friends. Alarial felt disgusted, at first, by the heal; it felt dirty and unwholesome, but it healed Indi's wounds better than her holy magic did.

This must be what using the shadow is like, Alarial thought to herself, concentrating on these feelings. Elune forgive me. Alarial opened herself to the shadow, letting it fill her and guide her into wielding its powers to try and heal Indi and Decay.

((Seriously, Indi is fine. People have a problem with badly role-played dragons, not well RPed ones, like Indi and Kozri. A bad dragon would be one who runs around and I cinerates everyone with AMAZING DRAGONPOWERS OF DOOM, and Indi and Kozri don't do this. They're well defined characters that aren't Sue-ish in any way. Heck, draw a comparison with my characters, eh?))

Saturo - CotD building
Saturo dove after Farj and Vallrok trough the portals, and materialized in the gyrocopter. She quickly started it, and flew off.

Nus and Decay - CotD building
Nus looked on in disgust as Decay was eating the corpse. She could barely stop herself from Pyroblasting the undead elf. Decay noticed someone behind her, and turned. She noticed the Draenei, and offered the half-eaten arm to her. "Hungry?", she asked, and looked surprised as the draenei cowered her mouth and rushed off with an exression as if she was about to vomit.

Alarial--CotD Building
An exhilarating rush overcame Alarial as the shadow filled and controlled her. Tendrils of purple began to swarm over her, and in turn, reach out to Indi. The death gasped and her eyes fluttered as the shadow healed her. Once IndiMs wounds were fully healed, Alarial slumped to the ground, unconscious, and the shadow left her.

((Exactly what Sat said. Indi is an awesome character, and you execute her very well. Better than I do with Kozri, honestly. I always feel wary with Kozri's dragon form in combat. That, and there isn't much known about bronzes, so it's hard to stick with lore. You are doing a fantastic job.))

Kozri
CotD Building

Kozri had sat back down, still tired. Everyone looked rather out of it, but at least they were safe. He sighed, glancing at Decay, "Do you think it's safe here? We don't have much choice, I don't think any of us are strong enough to move."
