But they should be. "Seal" is heinous, orca is runty weird. Otter would be excellent, they're deceptively vicious in real life, but also adorable, and it'd be great if aquatic form didn't break when you went above water. Otterform could waddle at RP walk speed but take off again when back in the water. Also, otters should also be hunter pets. Same reasons: vicious + adorable.

On topic:
Void wolf animation is fantastic. I'm not sure it fits as a mundane wolf, though. Blizzard could easily pull a thundermaw with it though.

Makes sense to me. It's way too cool to be a generic spawn pet (IMO).

Can someone check Chimaeron or its not possible yet? I remember that Muffinus mentioned that was going to have a trick to tame him, i would like to know if its up.

The reason we can't check yet is that much of the old world hasn't been given the "stat squish" treatment like the players and WoD content has. So no one can get far enough into Blackwing Descent as the mobs there completely destroy you with their unchanged numbers. Hopefully soon there will be a patch to change that and I'm sure someone will be checking as soon as they're able.

That is amazing. I've always loved Chimaeron's design since Cataclysm, and now I get to have him myself. How does he feel? Does he make a badass unique sound only certain bosses that you tame can make, when you command him to attack? How does he feel animation wise? Does he look too small?

I just read the spoiler text, and will not spoil for others. But I *will* say: OH, *AWESOME*, BLIZZARD!

They may have just made me want to tame something I didn't think I'd want to tame. And I *really* hope they use that mechanic for others later. Or a similar 'difficult mechanic'.

Ah, I wouldn't have minded those ones staying tameable either, I just like that colour. Welp, guess I'm in for a camp now.

Would love to try and tame Chimaeron myself but doesn't seem like the squish happened yet on Lost isles ><
