Looks like me and my mom are done on FR. Got account closures, and I really don't feel like dealing with it. Been fun, but probably best to quit. Game has started to be more of a drag than anything else, and it'll stop me from spending anymore money on it. Kinda wish they'd say something ahead of time tho, then I could've given my dragons to you guys...not really fair to have the dragons wasting away...

Oh noes! How can they do that?! This is my greatest fear - all my family are on FR from the same IP addresses - but we are NOT account sharing and live in fear of being accused I don't even know the passwords for my family's accounts

How can they prove you're doing something against the ToS? This is bullshit Max - please fight it, the FR community will be a less fun and friendly place without you and your gorgeous dragons :'(

they should say something ahead.. this worrys me too.. we are 4 ppl living in the same house.... gah....

you should totally write them.. we will miss seeing your dragons

Oof, that's not fun Max. >.< I'm sure you can get them back if you fight it, but I understand if you decide that you're done. I've heard that they only close accounts when they're on the same address, frequently trade dragons and large sums of money, and don't talk to each other (blank PMs with tons of items, etc).

I'm actually considering taking a break, myself. I'm not angry at FR or anything, just... no drive to do anything. I'll probably feed/breed and nothing else for a while. (though I still need to finish a pile of commissions, stupid Photoshop breaking...)

Thing is, all my PMs were blank cause I'm literally in the same house...why would I write in them when the person is standing right there?

The biggest sucky thing is just so many dragons left wasting away. Would've at least liked to have found them homes.

My page doesn't even say I'm banned...so now I wonder how many people have been banned with wasting accounts I see on the dragon search all the time...

Also...I suppose that's what I get for trying to get a dragon unexalted lol.

i understand that you maybe dont want to figth them... but you should defo set them straigth so they dont do it to someone else....Its super silly of FR

Yeah Max it would be sad to see you go, but they do need to understand that a lot of communication when in the same house is spoken not written. *hugs*

I know exactly what you mean Max! My mom joined FR after I used to share my pretty babies with her during her cancer treatment. She's not out of the woods yet - extremely likely to be terminal - so I give away lots to her without writing much in the mails - we sit in the same room on laptops so why would I write something in the mail when I physically say - "Hey mom, sending you a familiar you don't have according to your bestiary"!!!

My dad and brother joined for giggles - I'm sure they are trying to out do one another or something - but my brother uses my laptop to access FR as he doesn't use Chrome on his gaming PC as he can't play some of the browser games he enjoys :/ I guess I'm gonna have to start telling mom no when she asks if she can have one of my babies if she's had one already that week And my brother is gonna have to either get Chrome or stop playing FR I've spent so much time, effort and money on FR, yet kindness can somehow cripple your account :'(

soo much this..... i wish there was a way to communicate with the fr staff to hear their thoughts of this.. atleast i think they should talk to ppl befoe closing/banning the accounts

Argh my friend loaned me 3 gems so I'd have 35 to buy the Mysterious Cowl I wanted. Turn around and it sells and the next one is 65 gems or 25k which I don't have. Apparel problems. /sigh

Xaztol responded to a thread about the lair-jumbling bug.

We understand this is frustrating (it is for us, too) and I can assure you we are actively working on figuring out why it occurs.

I'd kind of be like '...you wrote the code, don't you KNOW'... but then I've done enough web design to know that... no, sometimes javascript just does stupid crap and you don't know why.

OT from that, I looked at my current nests. Tomorrow I have a 4 egg clutch hatching, followed by a 3 egg, then 2, then 1. Found that amusing except for the fact I had really been looking forward to breeding the ones that only made 1 egg. Was hoping for more.

You can't write to the staff Max? I know that's probably it for you with FR, but if you do managed to get your account back, you can send all your dragons out so that they don't starve and then let the site go.

It's stupid that they'd stomp down on your guys' accounts like that with no warning :/ I've seen people put up little notes on their profiles about multiple people in the same household/on the same computer but I don't actually know if the admin's keep note of that or not...

it really suxs that you got locked out Maximillian.. i think the least they could do is give a reason.. so ppl know what NOT to do....

I'm about ready to quit myself. I just dread tracking down anyone who's given me a dragon (and sorting through all my stuff). I'll probably keep my SR4 themed ones, my progens, and a few others but everything else is going on the free to good homes thread, the ah, and Tumblr.
