Here's some new horses! OK, just kidding, but I thought they were amusing enough to post. Most of you can probably guess that these are skins I stole from giraffes, talbuks, stags and gazelles and put on the horse model. The one that surprised me with its coolness is how good the black/green stag skin looks on a horse.

Want so badly!

I want the gazelle, giraffe and okapi horsie <.<

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! haha

Plus.. if we can't have hunter mounts... or tame those hooved animals... This is the next best thing!

The first Talbuk one is nice too.

I want a calico horse.

See blizz its not that hard to reskin things! Wain just did most of the work for you already
The "Striped", "Black" and "Zebu" all look nice and i would Gladly kill thousands of Half naked Stockade inmates over and over again to get exalted for a mount like that. Worgen would be the first faction i would want to get exalted with on all my toons.

Then i come to the "black Stag" skin. All i can say is WOW! Its new, its cool and to be honest i think it fits the worgens and the zone perfectly. Looks somewhat cursed, tough, brave and strong enough to run around with a wolf-man on its back. (not to mention it can fit both the "cursed land/pepole" lore and the "human+ mounts=horses" argument all while giving everyone a new look) I just spent over 200 runs getting my raven lord and i have to say i would be tempted to ride that guy instead of Anzu if i had the choice. xD *sigh* if only if only.

Thanks guys. I posted these as a bit of a joke Most of them don't quite fit the horse model properly (physically and artistically). I just thought it'd be fun to do

Yeah, that's the one that surprised me in how good it looked. The arctic stag skin on the horse isn't quite as good. I didn't try the brown one. The hooves don't quite work but that'd be a trivial fix.

You know, if they came in skins like that, I dont think I could or would complain about worgen getting horses. Those would fit in awsomly.

Except maybe the giraffe skin. Doesnt fit with worgen, but would still make an awsome mount for another faction.

The sad thing is that I can go onto the WoW community site where they first posted it and find that at least 3/4 of the people who commented, "WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR COOL BATTLBOAR?! /rage face" actually said this when the Battle Boars were first previewed: "WTF is that? It's so ugly! Give us a wolf!" -_-* I think Blizz at this point with how many misconceptions Alliance have been giving them over the years has decided to give up trying to please them. Blizz can't give Alliance races a wolf as a racial mount because lore-wise and everywhere else they are attached to Orcs.

Can we poste the idea on the wow fourms and hope it gets noticed? quick and easy reskin to quiet down some of the rage. Wish blizz would do this but i guess its all just wishfull thinking

Wow, the stag skins look surprisingly good. Minimal effort to clean up for a distinctive mount!

It's things like this that make me glad I finally quit WoW. I can UNDERSTAND why they gave worgen horses. However, they should have given them a unique skin or a colouration not seen on other horses and it would be okay. It still wouldn't be ideal, but it would be easier to accept. If I was still playing, I'd feel like Blizz was trolling me. I agree with whoever it was that said this is Blizz' "Here, now you have two more mounts so you and the horde have the same amount. Kindly stfu now."

I know I'm late to the party when it comes to talking about this, but I finally decided to just say it.

Blizzard better be trolling us.

We have 37 horses. (If you count the ones with wings) If you count all the horse mounts we ever had, (both those we have now and those who have been retired) we have had 43 horses in the game. That’s a lot of horses.
Humans have horses. Undead have (dead) horses. belf and human pallies (and the argent dawn ;D) have glowy-armored-pally-horses. Warlocks have Demonic Horses. Death Knights have lich horses. Blizz has done a fair job of making sure that the mount fits the faction. So if we must get more horses, why can’t the worgens at least have some kind of cursed horses? O.o

(Maby they are trolling us and the horses have a hidden cursed form like their master! …Right? Right!? )

Come on blizzard, you know this would make a great project for those graphic designers!

Personally i don't see the issue they already get Running Wild and mounts? their just to add up the number to equal with the horde not meant to be anything fancy. Be glad their not taking Running Wild away like the did with Plain Striding
