Actually xakaal if you were being defensive over saruto saying the rapture tommorrow thing is crap, I wasn't really offended 0.o, its really her opinion there, we both have different beliefs, Im fine with that

It's okay, Xakaal. As most of the people here have probably noticed, I rarely post about anything of any actual consequense, so whenever I feel I do, I lay my ears back and my hairs raises on my back, if that is a way to explain it. I am just kinda a tad scared to be flamed to hell and back, although I should have no reason to. I once was on the ign boards, so that's kinda what I would expect.

If that made any sense I do not know. x)

I really do like you guys here though. Feels like I'm "coming out of the closet" with my opinions. Meh. Huggles to all of you.

Sorry, i know its her opinion but i still feel there are things that should be kept under wraps, religion is an extremely touchy subject and extremely controversial, theres a LOT i dont like about religion but at the same time there are some religions that do more good then harm, while others do a lot more harm then good in their entire existence. There are some that i like, others i want nothing to do with, but im not going to intervene in someones beliefs unless there is cause for concern like those extremists who are getting rid of their worldly goods cause they think somethings gonna happen.

If the discussion stayed on the track of talking about the Rapture i wouldnt of said anything and left the thread alone but it started talking about religion as a whole and that i am most definitely not ok with, regardless of if the posters are aethiest or not. While i feel its safe to post once in a while about something that has to do with religion, hopefully something along the lines of a politely spoken opinion, writing negative comments are like throwing gasoline into a bonfire. The subject is already a burning bonfire and adding negative opinions to it causes it to become out of control.

I dont talk about religion at all in places where i do not know people so i dont offend them and i know the moderator doesnt reprimand someone for posting positive comments about religion while dealing and warning the people who are making negative ones which i feel is rather obscure because in my opinion religion shouldnt be spoken about in general in a place where one doesnt know how others will take their comments

and yes all the posts ive made 'cept my apology one are rants so im still on topic lol

edit: im hoping i covered everything i meant to write, and that it makes some sense, i just kept writing and writing and i cant find anything that i may be missing when i read it

Cowmu, I have an excellent method for dealing with them: Knee to the crotch. Works like a charm, every time. Only if they block the door or something, though. It's intrusion on private property, you're legally allowed to drive them off.

As for the rapture thing, wasn't it stated in the Bible that you can't predict when it'll come?
And the guy who predicted it has been wrong before. He's silly and you can ignore his new scare story.
I'm not religious, but if I was Christian, I would never fear any sort of Judgement day. Simply because God is supposed to be a benevolent figure, and why in the world would the benevolent God cause years of suffering on the majority of the people in the world? That's just... silly. It's like laboring over an aquarium and then boiling the fish to death because you decided you wanted to get new fish. A little excessive.

I don't know; it's not too far-fetched for this 89 year old guy who made the prediction to die within the next 24 hours. Not many people make it into their 90's...
