I like how my libary sends me a email 3 days before my books are overdue. It's very handy.

I just bought an ammonite. Then I got home and found a government check for $150.... I might get the other one I wanted tomorrow if it's still there... <.< There were 2 and I couldn't make up my mind, so now I think I will go get the other one if it's still there.. I hope it's still there...

Yeah, I grew up with dinosaurs. Doing actual impressive research for someone that was my age at the time (8 or 9). Now, one of my main "focus" interests in university (I'm taking wildlife bio for my major) is evolution. These ones are halves, polished for jewelery (necklaces to be specific), but the one I got, and the other one I'm hoping to get tomorrow (I'm hoping real bad that it doesn't sell til I can get there) are as natural as possible on the external half of the shell. Only polished/cleaned enough in order to get most of the rock off. I REALLY hope it doesn't sell by the time I get there.. I might leave early.. just to make sure I can get it (if it didn't sell in the last 3 hours.. should be closing soon). Was going to do some errands before class.. but maybe I'll do them after.. and just go to campus early, get my ammonite.. and then research for my report...

WOOOOOOO! He still had the other ammonite I wanted! I now have both of the ones that I liked! One lighter, and very iridescent, with nice fine ridges on the external shell, and some really cool almost geode-like formations on the internal compartments... The other is a larger spiral, with nice large, rough ridges, a more copper/orange like outter shell and a gorgeous interior, with the shell having cream-coloured highlights on the the compartment dividers... I will have to try and get some photos.. though I'm not sure the iridescence on the one will show though.

Kitties have a proper cat house to sleep in now. Wet kittens are cute, but not so cute to cuddle with. <3

I just soloed the whale shark. It was very tedious, just swimming around in circles, but I have now cured my fear of the whale shark, and I got myself a nice achievement. I now have 8000 achievement points.

My rat Tamika is sleeping soundly in the hood of my sweater that i turned backwards so she'd sit at the front (i dont wanna lean backwards and smush her, especially if i forget shes there and crash land into the backrest of my chair at full force) and my cat is sleeping soundly on my lap

They're a hoot, and both have a type of siamese in them! (Lucky has buramese cat in him, Tamika has siamese rat in her)

Have had an elevated mood for the past day or so, which is rare for me so I try to savor it. Makes me a bit too mouthy, though!
I blame the fiesty goblin alt I've been leveling.

This doesn't really fit anywhere, but I just read that women that plays games online have more sex than women who don't, in addition they are more social, both on the internet, and at home and with friends, they feel smarter, and playing makes them happy. Apparently, games like wow are a great way to relax.

Loves living with a rat. Ive had hamsters, gerbils, fish, guinea pigs... the hamster was easy to care for, very friendly, didnt mind being held, wasnt overly noisy (even though they are usually very well known for that during the night) but the others were awful. Gerbil was an absolute nightmare both day and night, was a total bully too, never backed down no matter your size. Guinea Pig SQUEAKED AND SQUEAKED AND SQUEAKED and he was a long hair so he always had bad smelling fur from all the caked on 'left behinds' cause he would run all over the damned place when i tried to groom him, he absolutely hated being touched and was always squeaking all day and night... fish... fish are very boring to me. They are pretty but i dont want them for pets, i dont have any interest in one unless its at the aquarium. But rats. Omg rats. Tamika is AMAZING! She doesnt make very much noise at all at night, infact you only hear her if shes eating food cause she looooooves seeds, she also sleeps most of the night too, she was up at about 5 this morning (i was awake out of thirst) and then i woke up at noon and she was sleeping soundly and never stirred till a little after 1pm xD I ordered a few fixings for her cause i am definitely planning to buy another one after she passes on (which im very happy to say wont be for a very long time, shes still a baby) cause they are just so much fun
