The mature tag just lets others know that there may be posts within that deal with mature themes or could be potentially agitating.
Nothing within the thread has been altered, and I certainly do not see how the Count video has any relation to this whatsoever. There is no censoring going on, rather the opposite...it's free reign in here to post rants or vents that may otherwise be inappropriate on a public forum. I honestly fail to see a reason to make a big deal over a simple disclaimer.

It's still not necessary, seeing as how only such a small part of the posts are mature, and the NSFW thing is just idiotic, since you'll get in enough trouble just from surfing forums about a class in a game at work.
There is absolutely no reason to have those tags there, it's pointless and stupid.

It doesn't make sense to split hairs over something that is ultimately very small and does not alter the contents of the thread in any way.
We could just lock it and not have a place to vent at all, thusly ending the discussion, but I don't think that's in the best interest of everyone.

I agree but meh...it's cause ONE person made a fuzz about it despite said post before did have a disclaimer on it.

It is a stupid debate. The mods decided the warning was worth having there, end of story. If you shouldn't be on the forums while you're at work, then that's your own problem if you get caught on this thread and not a fault of the thread having a disclaimer.
