Tyger, hopefully that's just a cramp, and not something wrong with a disc in your spine (I assume that the pain is towards the back of your neck). I've had cramped neck muscles that keep me from moving my head in a certain way (haven't we all?), but 'stabbing pain' would have me concerned. Am I worrying to much about this? Probably; it's because I care.

It's at the base of my skull on the left side of my head; a little ways underneath my ear. I'm really hoping it goes away on its own because I can't afford to see a doctor. =/

And OT: Closing for my work. I'm a bagger at one of our local grocery stores. It's not terrible, but there's definitely plenty of shit that makes me grind my gears. Really hoping I get a good person to help me close; the one I had last night was terrible.

This isnt really a gear grinder but a place to express my fear.. I studied so hard for a college test and due to circumstances couldnt finish. Now I find out from a friend in the class we have to pass all 3 normal tests, get 100% on all HW and pass the final to pass. I'm stressing to the max because I'm 90% sure I failed. I passed the first test and all the HW's. I'm just so mad - it seems so unfair to base a pass/fail course on one test. I all ready have another hard course I'm trying to conquer and I dont want to fail that one too - that'd make me half pass/half fail - I know I can pass the other two. That'd yank my FAFSA money and make me unable to pay for classes for the fall. Pressure is everywhere on me and I just dont know what to do, I could cry right now.. Sorry just needed to vent.

:( I can relate, Vulpixen. My courseload isn't as demanding as yours, with my being in my freshman year, but the university won't renew my 14k scholarship (half my tuition, not counting fees and books) unless I can pull a 3.0 GPA or better. I wound up with exactly that at the end of last quarter, and I'm in decidedly worse shape this quarter. Trying to not let the stress overwhelm me; it certainly doesn't help that most of the problem stems from me (I've had the worst tendency to crash in school after New Year's). I'm an intended biochemistry major, so having a 3.0 GPA wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for that one scholarship (it was awarded based off my SAT, so the high expectation isn't too terribly surprising).

On a related note, the US Congress threatening to cut some funding out of the Federal Pell Grant (yep, that's FAFSA-awarded funding) makes me madder at our legislature than usual. I am hoping against the odds that my representative, a Republican who is in a fairly even-split district, can be swayed to oppose this particular cut. I can't think of a worse place to cut funding than a grant that helps low-income students put themselves through college; cutting funds will inevitably precipitate students coming up short, and either having to drown in student debt or drop out with nothing to show for it.

I know, I agree completely.. I'm just overwhelmed atm and trying not to stress but its so hard when everything is bearing down on you.

I'm very sorry to hear that Vulpixen, but, don't give up. Is there any chance you could talk to your course advisor and get an incomplete and retake (due to the circumstances you mentioned)? Just a thought. Hope it all works out - I know college can be muy stressful...

I dont think I can because it was his fault, see he likes to review and thats all good and well but I work slower on math than others, I have a kinda of number dislexia - I mix them up.. I asked him if I could start early due to me having a class 20 mins after that class is up and having to walk all the way to a different building down the street for my next class. If I'm late for that class, which is the OTHER hard class, then that professor deducts points and counts you absent. He however refused and said I could simply stay some after class and do it, well I cant and explained that to him - not that it seemed to matter much as I still didnt have time to finish. :(

:( Being worried about a good friend who lives far away, who just had her much wanted second child last night. Unfortunately, she is in bad condition, because of severe pre-eclampsia, and the little boy was born at exactly 30 weeks and weighs in at 1.23 kilos. It makes me so sad that I can't be there to comfort her, but it does remind me, selfishly, how lucky I am to have such easy pregnancies and healthy kids born at over 4kgs!

what annoys me is when you get up and you touch something that is metal and you get this large ZAP! due to the static electricity you have built up.

Doing something that I've been wanting to do, but then feeling like a total ass over it....

(Incoming story)

A few days ago, on a whim, I decided that I'd try and get Terrorpene on my main. Now.. I've witnessed three Terror tames; two on Nesingwary (Both tames done by guildies <3) and one on Eonar (Where I randomly found Terror, but let a nice lvl 81 Hunter tame him.) All three times were back when I had no interest in taming him. But for some reason, the other night I felt like trying to find and tame him. After a few nights of sightless searching... I logged on tonight only to find.. He's up!

And there's another Hunter (lvl 81 Goblin) who wanted him. Honestly.. I dunno why I tried to tame him, knowing someone else wanted him. Even with a Shaman's help, the other Hunter died within seconds. Me? I didn't even go past 60% health, mostly thanks to the resist potion I had. Of course, I ended up being bitched at by the Shaman, who in the end ignored me. I tried to explain that I had been looking for Terrorpene too, I had logged on when he was up, so technically.. He was fair game. Yet.. I still feel like a total jerk about it.

I ended up sending an apology letter to the Hunter, in which I said I'd definitely tell him if I ever saw Terror up again when he was on, along with the extra +haste food/elixir and the resist elixir I had. I highly doubt it'll help, or anything.. But...

*Sighs* I just feel so damn lousy about it, and that I hardly even deserve this pet. I mean, I didn't NEED to have it. I had a slight wanting of it, but not one that warranted practically stealing someone's tame....

Just remember Senna, its far game till its tag'd. The other hunter had his try and failed, you had your try and succeded. Teropene chose to accept you as his partner.

*Sighs* Yeah, I know.. But I'm pretty sure that Hunter had been trying quite a few times before I had logged on. So.. Blah, I still feel bad over it. Heck, I even dubbed the turtle 'Heartbreak' *Half-hearted smile*

Yah the hunter @ 81 had no chance really of taming him. That tutle hits for 10k each hit. If he was not able to tame him then it's totally free game.

If he was 81 and had a shammy with him and was failing, then it's their own fault for messing it up somehow. Veph and I pulled that tame off in the first few days of Cata, no problem.

I guess.. Though the lvl 81 who tamed Terrorpene the third time I saw it was able to solo tame him. Hm.

Feeling a bit better now, though, which is good. Just venting about it probably made it better..

And ultimately, Terrorpene will spawn again. He'll get his chance, and hopefully you'll have a chance to redeem yourself by helping him with it.
Don't feel bad hun, these things happen. <3

My sister, bless her cotton socks, moved interstate, leaving her house 1/2 full of furniture and junk. It's to be rerented out this monday coming. I had to order a skip bin (that I paid for), take the day off work and throw out and move it all by myself as herself and all the famaily is all living in queensland now. I know she did not ask me to do it, but she would have lost her bond and I was just trying to be a helpful big bro... and when i told her I had done and finished it all this evening, she just passed on a simple... "Oh ok...cool".... /grumble.

**edit**
I just found this however that did cheer me up a little though... dam orange.. lol

Holy .

I'm in a bg, there's a rogue at the GY, he keeps sapping me and killing me, SOME ARSE reports me away, I can't get a HK due to being sapped and dead all the time and I got kicked.

Seriously.
