I've seen people mention getting random packages from people, and before today I've never seen one. Here's the message I got:
Liatai wrote:Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle~
On the edges of your clan's territory, a trio of Tundra dragons are gathering. This might not be a strange sight in the Southern Icefield -- this is their native territory, after all -- except for the fact that their coats are quite sparse for the season, and their eyes are far too green to be natives. The furry dragons are pulling along small sleds, each laden with boxes and bags.
A large golden-winged Imperial follows in their tracks, careful to keep to the ruts worn in the snow by the Tundra dragons. The jingling comes from his horns, which are draped in an array of bells and crystals.
The grey Tundra leading the pack nods. "Here! This looks like a good place."
"Are you sure?" The sky-blue female to her left, much younger, sniffs the air. "It seems kind of desolate..."
"Smell a little closer, Firchlis," the last Tundra dragon, white with blue seraph wings, says. "We're close to a clan's lair. A little too close, I would say." She looks aside to the grey one with concern. "Are you sure, sister Sprout? They might take offense..."
The golden-winged Imperial chuckles, curling his tail protectively around the group. "Gealaglair, if Chirrup and I could blow clouds of glitter and petals into Plague lands without serious retribution, I think this will work out fine. Besides, your plan is a lot less..."
"Noisy," a monotonous voice mutters from within the ruff of fur on the grey Tundra dragon's back. "As well as being more polite by unfathomable magnitudes."
This commentary only seems to rekindle the fire-eyed Imperial's chuckling. "Ah, memories..." With a sweep of his tail, he levels out a patch of snow. "This look good, princess?"
"Perfect, Gil." The grey Tundra dragon smiles, craning her neck to prod her ruff with her nose. "Come on out, you two! We have work to do. Quicklike, now!"
A blue frilled head pops out of Sprout's mane, busying itself with undoing the straps connecting her to her sled before hopping over to the other two Tundra dragons. Firchlis' shimmering blue shoulder wrap uncoils itself with a yawn, displaying needle-like teeth in a frosty white maw.
The two Fae dragons, working in concert, select a handful of bags and crates to open and distribute. As the Imperial stands guard, the Tundra dragons set to work, Fae flitting about to make minute adjustments and ferry things to and fro. When their work is done, the Fae hitch the Tundra dragons back up to the sleds, and they head off into the snow, followed by their chiming escort.
Jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle, jingle~
When your clan investigates, they find a ring of Winterbelle and snowdrops poking their heads up through the snow. The inside of the ring is a riot of color; leaves and flowers, sprinkled carefully in intricate patterns. The arrangement is protected by a round ridge of ice, deflecting the wind up and over it -- clearly formed by ice magic. In the center of the floral rings, there sits a box with a roll of parchment tied to the top with a vine, sealed with the green tree of the Nature flight.
The note on the box reads;
Best wishes from the Bramblewood Grove
and other friends in the Nature Flight.
May your coming years be joyful, safe, and prosperous,
and vibrant new growth spring from the ashes of the past!
Sincerely, Ceotha, Earraedhris, Sprout, and the rest of the Clan of the Bramblewood Grove
Attached was 1,000 treasure, and 2-3 each of random flowers/plant type food.

Hopefully I will get my first Nocturne soon, though all of the ones within my budget in the AH right now I'm not feeling too much. But hopefully soon.

I'm playing with her in the scrying workshop now...she'd look good with Bar/Daub/Underbelly. How much were you looking to get for her?

Guys...I'm an idiot. For some odd reason I was under the impression Nocturnes didn't have front legs...
It wasn't until I saw someones signature and realised that Nocturnes don't lose their forelegs growing up that I'm as blind as a bat >.>

I can't think of any specific Plague gift-bombing wars (like the one between Plague/Nature)
Looks like folks are just gift-bombing each other for the fun of it.

Yep, Snowy, it's sort of a PIF thing (pay-it-forward). People will send random members of other flights a lump of food and a cute letter; it's been happening a lot lately (Mind you I've never gotten one, haha.) I -think- the food drives are arranged by flights, or at least they used to be, but it seems like more and more people are doing it independently.

I just posted mine earlier in the week. It was a Nature Flight member who did mine. I really liked their little description. I kind of want to do one to someone else now.
