Their announcements said exactly what they're doing. They've got LightSky back in there to work on their database. If their database is messed up bad enough then there's a chance they have to recode the entire website.

ughnnn that sounds both costly AND timecomsuming...

tarn, it would be, BUT, patching something continually on something that's fundamentally broken is a waste of time and effort. better to nip the problem in the bud and get it done right rather than deal with problem after problem code-wise and server-wise. They'd never have time to develop the site sort of plot or story/content-wise if that were the case.

I was thinking of the exaltation and economy problem. If they made a point/rep system with exaltation, people might be more willing to exalt. Users could purchase special items with points/rep like special familiars, clothes, etc. They could even earn rank with their dragon lord.

Oooooh, I like those ideas, Dewclaw. Wouldn't that be fun! I hope you put this on their suggestion page. Once the site is back up, of course, lol.

My name is Tyger and I'm a dragon hoarder and even though I've cleaned up my lair and have 9 open slots all I can think about doing is buying pretty dragons to fill them up when I should be getting genes and breed changes for my existing dragons. >_<

My man has threatened to black list me from the sales thread here. xD He's backed the funding for some of my recent dragon purchases and I think he's finally cut me off.

Not a rant so much as me facepalming because I'm hatching a nest tonight. The nest is 3 eggs. I had only 2 free lair spaces so I decided to sell a dragon. I sold the dragon! Hooray I have enough space to hatch my nest now!

I just realized that there are about three colors in my lair. xD Reddish brown, muted blue, grey. Some other muted colors. There is just about 0 green. I should fix that at some point...

So after I was missing gathering turns the other day I reported it.. The FR staff emailed me back that while a lot of people were having that issue that not all were so they wouldn't be compensating me for my lost turns. What the hell. -_-

Ugh I hate when they do shit like that. Right from the beginning when someones Boolean was stolen they've been constantly saying no, no, no to just about everything. Even changing their ToS after saying no to make it look like the rule was always there or to keep people from asking in the future. They're the ones messing with the servers, not us, we didn't break the gather turns and the website team they hired is there to have the servers run the best they can so they can open up registration. Its the admins job to look after the playerbase.
