My girlfriend and I have been camping Aeonaxx since monday-ish. Between the 2 of us and our 3 accounts we were able to pretty much cover all 6 spawn points. One time we thought he spawned on monday, but couldnt find him or anyone riding him. Today, that changed. Spawned right on top of my GF's toon and shes is now the proud owner of the drake.

I stopped by to tell you this: It may seem like forever, with no sign of the blood seeker (I never saw him even once!) but he will show his ugly head, and you will be there waiting to make him your B!@#$. Keep with it.

Another quiet night in Deepholm. Probably fruitless as well. I'm really tired from working early this morning, so I doubt I'll be able to stay up for much longer.

I know how you feel about wanting to get back to your normal stuff in WoW, Veph. ;n; I would give anything to just go do some archaeology right now, but I really don't want to miss TLPD. Wishing you luck, as always!(:

Alright Aeonaxx, you win this night...but

After 54 days of 12-18hrs a day, I finally got him. I lost him to other people 3 times and I did see that stupid bat a few times. I have to admit that it was all totally worth it. Every time I log in and fly around on that beautiful purple stone drake I take a deep breath and just smile.

Good luck on your hunt Veph! He will so be worth it in the end! Don't forget to have your sound set up so you hear it even if you're tabbed out of the game. I lost him once because I didn't hear NPC scan go off.

At least your NPCscan DOES go off while tabbed out. Mine doesn't sound until I tab back in, it's really aggravating. Is it b/c I'm playing full screen and not windowed?

No hun, it's a setting in the sound manager, not your screen settings.
Options > Sound > Enable Sound in Background

Make sure that is ticked and you should be set.

I've done that though, and can still here the WoW background music while tabbed out, but the actual alert doesn't go off until I tab back in.

Yeah, make sure you're in Windowed mode. If you're in Fullscreen the sound won't work, even with the sound in background option checked.

Blood Seeker just spawned for me. I'm rather amazed as I'm only sitting here for a few minutes before heading to work, so that was crazy timing.



That's the first sighting I've seen in a month though, so...I think the good luck might be working. ^^
