i can answer this now! a friend of mine got him on friday, and then i started camping 72 hours later on monday. i got it two hours later! !!!

Got him today at 10:49 A.M. Only camped him for a couple hours. Not really sure of his spawn rates or anything since I don't know anyone else who has him :/

So Vetiver and Druna, would I be correct in assuming you are playing on US servers? Or am I completely off here? x)

I sure hope we find him soon on my server.

yes, i play on an EST US server

i saw that there were rolling restarts planned for a bunch of US servers this week...so a bunch of people are just going to be out of luck.

Just keep your head up and stay positive. I originally didn't even want the mount enough to camp for it, but then we decided to casually do sweeps for him. When it came out online that no one could find a spawn the first week, I think it felt like a challenge for Bryn and I lol. I loved his colors, and the more he eluded us, the more I wanted to find him. The more Bryn and I spoke about it, the more he began to develop a personality of sorts. Eventually I found myself actually camping the blasted 'Horse. I would wait until close to the 72 hour mark, and then set up camp. Bryn was an angel with helping me out by covering the Shimmering Expanse, as I was sitting at the lonely Depths spawn spot. I wouldn't have gotten him last night if it wasn't for her. Last week we BOTH missed him as he spawned at a spot neither of us were at. A person leveling in the area got him and we abandoned our posts when he swam past me on the mount, and an armory check showed him having had looted an item that dropped off the beast. I honestly didn't think I'd get the mount anytime soon due to his spawn patterns and my refusal to hardcore camp like I do for pets and drakes . I got up about 2 hours prior to the 72 hour mark, scouted for TLPD for my alt, then settled in for the 'Horse when it came close to 72 hours (while watching Gaga on Good Morning America! lol). After sitting for what seemed to be forever, I had to log off to do some yardwork. 4 hours later or so I logged back on, and began to camp again, as I had a huge headache and figured it was worth a try to camp since the same names popped up on a /who as before I left. About 4 hours after that he spawned- victory! Thanks again Bryndell, you saved my sanity! <3

I think people on our realm are starting to figure out that ANYONE camping a rare spot with that guild tag is either you or me. LOL.

Neither of us wanted him, like you said, but I think it was the challenge of figuring it out, and all the research, and preparations that made me actually decide, well, hell, why not? IMO, hes less of a PITA to camp because you know you have basically 3 days to ignore him after a restart lol.

Remember me complaining in chat, "I cant believe I havent even seen a CORPSE?" and then I read my chat...not TEN MINUTES LATER... it was about 11-12 hours after reset?

I went to the kitchen, did dishes, went to go potty, and BING, he popped..it was bonkers lol.

I say it was Little Monster luck. PAWS UP!

regarding a corpse, he despawns FAST. the second i killed him i whispered a fellow camper i talk to a lot, and she swam over to me (spawn above nespirah) from the ridge spawn point and it despawned before she got to me! (shauni if you are reading this feel free to correct me if you are not a she >_>)

*sighs* he must have spawned tonight since I checked last at around 9pm, and at 10:30pm the reins are sitting on the AH for 150G buyout. Boo..... and I'd given them to a good friend or guildie instead... At least I know the previous two went to a happy home!
