As usually lovely work i adore the hyenas - the adult eating reminds me of the not so cleaver heyna in the lion king. Just something about his experession

Okay I'm just posting an update:

I have atleast 20 plus pages of babies waiting to be inked atm (I just can't stop! XD) Everything from Beetle grubs to FelElves and everything inbertween. But I'm a bit slow at inking them atm as I'm in the middle of cleaning up this animation i'm doing. (don't worry I'll post that here too) so in the nera future the next one is going to be Dragonhawks as it's been on my laptop for a bit waiting.

I found this old drawing yesterday and desided to colour it. I allso put in more of a background.

Now I'm not good at story telling but here I go!

Loque’nahak the spirit beast was starved. He'd not eaten in days for the beasts of Sholazar Basin are not easy prey. But today he was lucky and stumbled on three little Dreadsaber cubs. They would make an easy meal for the starved beast and so he walked closer mouth drooling with anticipation. Less than a few meters away in a hollow of tree roots rest the Dreadsaber's mum. Her keen sense of smell cought the stench of Loque and her eyes opened. Seeing that her cubs where in danger she went into full protection mode and lept on the invader. Before Loque'nahak could deside what cub to eat first he felt the sharp pain of the Dreadsaber mum's fangs dig into him and with a roar of pain from Loque the fight had begun!

I'll leave the ending up to you! I think the mum one.

This is one of the rare times I'll draw a Spiritbeast as I don't like them. I could say worse than don't like but eh I don't want my thread to be locked from rage by people. (as what happens most of the time when it comes to threads where someone says they don't like em)

How long does it take to make a drawing like that ?

heh took me a bit to realise you wrtoe inside the quote XD.

How long? gah um I useally split it up over a few days depending on my mood but I'll try to tell you.

Drawing: Would be maybe 10mins - few hours depending on what I'm doing, how big it is,if I've drawen the characters before,if I have a plan or am making it up as I go and how detalied I want it to be and if I make up the characters too.

Inking/clean up: maybe half hour - few hours depending on how large and complicated or detailed the drawing is and I try to do as few fuck ups as I can so I don't need to go over in Photoshop.

Colour: hour or so depending on what it is etc

So a bit.

I didn't realize I replied in the quote, I'm not sure how I managed to do that either...

Good thing you like to draw, I couldn't do something like for the amount of time you spend on it.

Bone Crocolisk,Basilisk and Diemetradon's. Based off real life crocodiles skelentons with a bit of modification of course. I think the Basilisks would be good in ZF maybe bursting out of the sand with undead sand trolls.

I'll do the OL and Cata ones another time.
