My main Druid finally scraped enough gold together for a Mekingneer's Chopper, only to have my Rogue convince her it was environmentally unfriendly. Then he wheedled the keys out of her and went on a crime spree with his nefarious sidekick:

my pally has 65 mounts 2 being proto drakes, i got the red one for doing all the heroic acihvs. did it with a group of friends so we all got them at the same time. Then I got the blue proto drake on her too. it was her first time in utgarde pinn. in general and her first time there on heroic, it was epic won it with a 100 roll finally saved up enough to get the argent charger and the argent hippogryph

WOOT! After 66 runs through H MgT, I FINALLY got the white hawkstrider! Naturally, I named him Kael, and he is mount #111! SO happy!

I bet my boyfriend is happy too, I owe him so much for sticking through 66 runs of both MgT and Setthek Halls Now if only the Raven Lord would drop..

Yeh, the others are flying only, but a lot of the newer mounts (especially those that scale) are starting to have the ground/fly aspect of them, so if you didn't have flight skill you could use it for ground riding up until your trained skill. I'm thinking they didn't program it that way due to the changes come Cata where they will scale to 310 with training, and you'll be able to fly in previously non flyable zones.

Wooot! After 59 random occs I finally got my Blue Drake! Her name is Avagosa and she is mount #112 and my 11th rare mount!

I only have 16 left on my wish list and I've been on a luck streak in the last month, so here's hoping I get them soon!

Just won Black drake on my DK wit =h my first time raid leading it, i thought to myself while mowing hte lawn hey i should start an os3d tonight, im one lucky demon!!

I was almost revered with Kurenai after leveling in Outland, so I decided to just finish it up. I bought all the mounts but tan is my favorite. Not the best picture but eh:

Me and my guild was just about to kill KT in Naxx and finish the Immortal for our proto drakes. Everything was going good, everyone running out of void zones and healers topping off ice blocked people. KT dies, everyone starts going nuts,....but no achievement. We start going through logs to see if anyone died. Not a single death to a boss recorded in our logs. So we put in a ticket. Mod we got gave us the same story that has been told to everyone else, they don't award achievements. We asked that the ticket be escalated and we got in touch with the head mod. They looked over the logs they had, and indeed we did not die to a boss encounter

It turns out that one of our members died to one of the slimes that Grob drops off his platform on the way to Patchwerk. The game counted it as a boss death since the slimes came from one, but it was not a boss encounter. This bug made it all the way to the Dev team and 4 weeks after completing our Immortal, they awarded us the achievement and got our Black Proto-drakes. I flew on that drake for the longest time.
