Giant pandas are indeed bears, they belong to the family Ursidae like all other bears.

huh.... i was looking and your right pandas used to be not classifed as bears but recently thru gentic testing they are found to be related im sry i was going off old info

its ok ^-^ i still think of pluto as a planet rather then a moon and i'll forever call red pandas that name even if scientists change their name. Im glad to hear tho that blizz has weight info on the pandarians (least, in the RPG), if they stick to it then we wont get furry toothpicks

Man this threads got big since last I was here. I've got a bad feeling this will turn into another femaleworgen but I hope it will be a chunky female seeing as their culture is very food heavy ya think they would be chunky!

As a few people have asked for regarding the 2 amazing female panda designs added earlier.... something in between?

Now all credit to the original artist, (Smirgow on DA) their work was amazing!!!! and I hope I did not butcher it to much, but just trying to find that happy that medium a few people were asking for.
