There are... a FEW tameable beasts in some other areas. Like, the bats in Mogu'shan Palace are tameable, and I think there are some other common beasts in some of the other zones (that I'm sure I haven't updated).

On my BM hunter I was able to tame a "Zandalari Raptor Mount" after killing it's rider on the Isle of Reckoning today, It looks a lot like the "Black War Raptor." PvP mount. Most like it is a glitch and they will get rid of it by the time MoP goes live.

Happen to have a pic?

Only saw orange and red raptors out there earlier!

From Zouchin village swim out to the big island in the NE corner of the map. You will see a troll riding one of the mounts. Kill the troll, Freeze the Mount and then tame it. Sorry no pic.
Edit I am in game on HÃ grid standing in Zouchin Village right now .

Is it a named troll? I'll go take another look.
EDIT: Okay, the only named troll I see doesn't have a mount and the only two mounts on the entire island are:
Orange
Red
Both are called Zandalari Riding Raptors.

Oh I think there may of been a misunderstanding When I said they look lot like the "Black War Raptor," I meant The Basic model, and not the color. when you stated that you only saw orange and red raptors, I thoiught you were tanking about the Reg raptors and not the mounts.

Nope, the orange and red raptor mounts.
Glad that's cleared up! ^_^ Would have been neat to have the black one, though.

Alright, so I'm working on the list again (finally, lol) and I could use your help with all of the Pandaria beasts that are currently tameable. With all of the information scattered about, it's hard to track all of it down. ^^; I've gotten a few, and I have some screenshots of others that I need to track down and enter in, but I'm most likely going to miss some. So if you could just do a Ctrl+F search and see if what you know is already entered in, and if not lemme know here, that'd be awesome.

I just found a quest mob named Needlebeak in Krasarang Wilds. It's an aggressive, level 87 white crane, has a diet of Meat and Fish, the title <Lord of the Flock>, and is unfortunately untameable... hopefully not for long.

Eep. o_o Found an elite spider named Feverbite in The Forbidden Jungle in Krasarang Wilds. It uses
this skin, has no diet and is untameable.

So I've discovered something about Feverbite. She seems to only spawn if you kill a large amount of her hatchlings. She's surrounded by tons, and so I went around killing a bunch, and each time I get to a certain spot, she'd spawn. I even waited different time lengths before I started killing the hatchlings, so I think it's legit! How neat!
Also, when you attack her, a bunch of her hatchlings will come and attack you (or your pet). A close family, I'd say!

Smells like new quest mob mechanics to me.

Wain wrote:So it looks like the turtles missing fins etc. wasn't a glitch. They've created a second dragon turtle model and both are available in WMV. The original, with fins on the neck, leg and tail, and a spikier shell, is now called the "Epic" model. The new one is now the regular model and lacks these things, but is overall quite similar. I've added them to the list of skins over here:

I'm just noting it here so people pay attention to which model turtle they're reporting. And also because a lot of the ones previously reported may (or may not) have been changed to the regular model. I suspect all of them would have changed by default, because the new, non-spiky model was given the original model file name, and the spiky model was moved to a new name. So any they want to be spiky would probably have been manually changed back.
So, I wonder which on the list use which model now.
I desperately hope we see the epic versions that are tameable in the next patch of beta

This, this, so much this. I cant stand their tails without the fins, and the spikes are so so much cooler. Not to mention the majority of the turtle skins don't match up with the regular model. The scoots are mismatched. That model is clearly for the black with red eyes turtle. >.<
