Thank you! It wasn't the fact that I was questioning you, I do trust what people say, it's more the fact that other people might question it, and it's good to have something illustrating a fact. I can read german. And I have a name to give credit to

I finally found some caches after hitting revered with the Golden Lotus, and can now fully explore the halls whenever I feel like it. In the caches (three total) there was some gold, lesser charms and Golden Lotus rep increasing consumables. I took a screenshot of each cache:

I'm still hoping they have a chance of containing skyshards, but I'm starting to doubt it.

Eh... I thought she might be a bit more unique looking, to be honest. TLPD was a nice golden color that really stands out, Aeonaxx dropped a vibrant purple colored mount, but this is just a red cloud serpent.
Is there a "non-thundering" red cloud serpent? If so, I'd find that really disappointing... but if she's the only red cloud serpent, I'm OK with that.

the regular red cloud serpent is the reward for Pandaria's roic 5 man achs.

They have the exact same mount. And if you look carefully at that video when he loots the mount, it says he needs to be exalted with the August Celestials to use it.

The faction only sells the August Cloud Serpent...Alani will be the only source of the other one. Not sure about the faction req tho XD.

Huh. Odd. I thought the database would have it listed correctly. I'm not bothering playing the beta so... Even so, seems odd it would need the reputations. I could understand the Order of the Cloud Serpent reputation in order to use Cloud Serpents as mounts, but why the August Celestials as well? It also seems to have a very interesting sell price.

Hard to say much about the Ruby one tho as all Beta players have it from the start...so the faction req is a moot point there till live XD

Only the Thundering ones (which is this one and the Yellow one sold by the Celestials and the green one from guild raid achs) have this effect.

Ones marked as Heavenly (black one from Sha of Anger and the Pandaria raid ach red one) use glowing white effects on the face (look at Tsulong in the dungeon journal).

So the only difference is the color.. thats.. odd. You have to spend time doing dailies to get enough crystals to form it, then hope that its up (its still a rare and alot of people are doing dailies for the cyrstals to). I was kinda hoping for it to be you know unique, I mean TLPD you know, Aeonaxx you know.. im not sure if this one is that unique really.

yeah all the uniqueness comes from his lightning effect..that's about it.

Cloud serpents available:

1: Jade Cloud serpent: If you chose the green egg during Order of the Cloud Serpent quests, you get it free at exalted. Otherwise you must buy.

2: Azure Cloud Serpent: Same as Jade....but blue egg.

3: Gold Cloud Serpent: Same as Jade and Azure but Gold egg.

4: Ruby Cloud Serpent: Glory of the Pandaria Hero ach.

5: Thundering Jade Cloud Serpent: Guild Glory of the Pandaria Raider ach.

6: Thundering August Cloud Serpent: Sold by August Celestials at exalted. (Golden electric one)

7: Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent: Dropped by Alani. Ppl on Beta already have this mount.

8: Heavenly Ruby Cloud Serpent: Glory of the Pandaria Raider ach

9: Heavenly Onyx Cloud Serpent: Dropped by world boss Sha of Anger.

10: There is also supposed to be a celestial cloud serpent (like the starry horse...but a cloud serpent) that is a rare drop from a raid boss...likely Elegon.

11: Onyx Cloud Serpent: Quest reward from a quest received at Exalted with Shado-pan.
many of these are the same colors with added effects.
