Yeah I noticed the stomach myself, problem was the bloody cloud prevented any screenies of it.

I just want them slowed a bit on the ground. Flying they're fine but grounded I suspect it's gonna cause the same problems for me mana wyrms currently do to my eyesight which sucks :/ That and the weird jutting hip fur is REALLY annoying. It's defiantly the Talbuk skeleton though, the tail moves exactly the same with a slight kink at the end.


Have to say unarmored ends up making the facial stabbing implements look more ridiculous when you think how much they jut forward on a run... There is some nice skin under there just very hidden.

I think that they really do need to fix the whiskers so that they point backwards when running, they just look too bizarre otherwise.

Their faces... wtf. They look like deformed gorillas. >.< It bothers me because otherwise I really like these mounts.

I like the shots of them without the armor. Their faces look a lil better without all the armor on, but the ears and nose looks a lil off. Other than that, they're growing on me.

Yeah, normally I prefer mounts with armour, but these look a *lot* better without imo.

The brown one really hit home with me; I love the colors and the models nonetheless.

If this is another faction; I'll go all out on it. I grinded by Cloud Serpent, I'll grind this one if I have too.

They updated this mount in this latest build. The "whiskers" now flow, and the ground running animation is, in my humble opinion, AWFUL. The flying animation seems to still be that of the headless horseman mount (for comparison), though the flying idle is different. The ground running animation is like... I dont know how to explain it, little gallops or hops, its weirdddd. I hope someone can take video cuz I cant

Edit: The more I watch the flying animation, it looks more like a slowed down version of the ground run, but I can hardly tell ><

Glad the whiskers now flow. The windsteed seems to have gained the same hopping run animation of the druid travel forms. It does look a bit odd since the back is so stiff looking but it does help bring out the deer side of the Kirin. The fly animation is a bit of a modified horse run with a higher, more actively moving head and tail.
It also seems to have gained some new idle animatons, including one where it holds up its left leg and looks around, along with the druid stag form animation where it looks to the side and sniffs the air.
Also has a cool mountspecial where it rears up on its back legs and turns in a circle.

Also interesting, the latest patch introduces a proper "no harness" version of the model! Let's hope we find them live in the world somewhere

Would certainly make a handsome addition to the Goat family XD Maybe named; Karin; Herald of the Four Winds, available in four colours, just like portent, but depends on the zone it is found XD

They would indeed. But... they're scaly and they fly. I think rams might be a closer match for goats than these guys. It would be awesome if they made it in anyway, but I'd love for them to have their own family with some cool power.

Maybe a special hunter flight form riding on a windsteed

I'd also hope for their own family...because I'm selfish and want a more raid-useful buff for them to bring. XD

Do you think it's possible we'll see the 5th Celestial appear in Pandaria, as we continue to rip the land apart? Aside of the 4 Guardians that we have currently in game as current Celestials, there is a fifth, the Yellow Dragon of Center. Since we have enough dragons already, and a qilin is in some variants part of the quartet...

And then a qilin spirit beast!

Most of the windsteed is quite pretty, but the face is a huge turnoff. If it stays this way, I think it'll be the first store mount that I'll pass on.

Edit: Wow, they look a lot nicer without the armor if you ask me. Kind of like the heart of the aspects, which looks a lot trimmer and shows off its lovely horns much better without the bulky plates... Too bad they're really reluctant to give players un-armored mounts to ride.

If one of those unarmored ones made it in as a new "spirit beast" id tame it
