Not sure if this has been reported yet, but the Swamp Croakers on Isle of Thunder now come in blue as well as green. I thought originally they were just green.

The Elder Pythons also come in green as well as red. I had a feeling they were just red before.

But maybe this is old news

The frogs have always been blue and green, but the green python's a new one! I'm running to the PTR to get one now.
Edit: Here's the new green color, very realistic! I'll definitely get one of these colors on live.


And I know it's been said before, but dang are those baby thunder-crocs huge!

I hope they stay that way!


Also, I just looked at WMV, and there should be a third, brown pythonpet skin. Any sign of that on the PTR?

Not that I could see. I checked a lot of pythons (as well as croakers for the other two frog colours), but I didn't see any more colours. Isle of Giants still has no minipets that I can see, too.

They keep implying that there will be new color-changing mini-pets. I wonder if any of these will end up that way?

I personally hope not. If I want a blue frog, I want a blue frog.

I also think it's less likely with wild pets, as they'd need to make changes to the code to cover the very few that behave that way. It would be much simpler with standalone pets.

This sums up why I don't like color-changers in a nutshell.

If there will be color-changers, at least provide non-color-changing alternative pets with the same model and moveset.

Yes, it would make better sense for color-changers to be non-wild pets.
