Nah, I don't think the Twilight series will be behind a mass exodus.
It'll simply be caused by us werewolf fans who enjoy watching better werewolf movies, like a An American Werewolf, the Wolfman (classic and remake) and The Underworld series, and want toons that actually look like they can rip peoples throats out. (Actually that would have been a great racial for worgens-Throat Rip: lunge at an enemy's throat which stuns them and causes massive bleeding effects when you bite them)

the werewolfs in underworld where pretty crap lol. I'm pretty sure all the little kids who play bloodelfs will be going to play worgen. SO non of the other toons look like than can rip ur throat out? that female worgen does not look anymore dangerus than anyother female toon you can make.

I like my horde ugly and looking like a BAMF. Belves ruined a lot of my horde pride, to be honest. Unless they pick out the faces that attempt to look ugly... kinda like the belf on the burning crusade box...

I know the whole idea was "ugly and evil on the inside" for them, but still... so many people pick it just because it's pretty...

I'll be playing a worgen, but thats more for the fact that I...HATE...Human-like characters...if I didnt find the horde areas/quests so...infuriating, I'd play Tauren...but I like the calm coolness of the alliance...so i am stuck with human-like toons. I am looking forward to finally being able to use a beastial race (my Druid aside) and sort-of the dreanie.

I still fail to see why there are so many people griping about there will be thousands of Twilight fans flocking to the worgen, as well as "kids".
For Twilight, I highly doubt that the fans would be willing to dish out about $200 to play these creatures that do not even resemble the wolves in Twilight. Besides, the human form of worgens are far from a hot teenage boy that runs around without a shirt on 24/7. Which I really think is the only reason they'd be popular.
As for "kids", I have to admit I've found a few BEs that are played by younger people. However, they were few and far between. I think that someone who would play a "pretty" race would be rather turned off by the worgen. They certainly aren't pretty, and if fierce was what they wanted, why hadn't they played orcs, tauren. trolls, ect. instead of BEs? Elves will continue being an extremely popular choice, most likely because of how mainstream they are in other video games, movies, and books. Also because they're pretty.
The whole "kids" thing just bothers me a bit too. You can't really judge a person by their age. I've met plenty of adults that act like they're hormonal children. And although rare, there are some younger people are are very mature for their age. I'm 14, and a girl. And I'm eager to roll a worgen. Does this brand me as a crazy Twilight fan, or an incompetent, irritating child? No. I happen to think werewolves are a nice change from the typical fantasy MMO (Elves, dwarves, orcs, humans, ect.). Also because they're just plain badass. And heck, just because I haven't lived on this earth as long as someone else doesn't make me any less human.

And just a word of advice - if there are any hardcore Twilight fans among the worgen, and they honestly bother you that much, just stay away from any "Jacobblack"s, "Sam"s, "Embry"s, "Paul"s, "Quill"s, and "Jared"s or any other variant of these names and you'll be perfectly fine.

Was just saying cos 60% of the bloodelf players i have seen act like little kids >.> I would not call a worgen badass they don't seem to fit the badass werewolf look to me not ruggerd enuff ya know?

Eh, everyone's got their opinions on what looks tough and what doesn't. They could stand to look a bit more vicious looking, I'll agree to that. The playable worgen are a bit tidier looking than their feral counterparts, but they've still got that edge to them.

Well they are a bit different because they are more civil than their counterparts as well since they are "regaining" control of themselves. I just like them and will play one because I LOVE werewolves and wolves in general

hmmm wonder how the gear on the worgen are going to scale..graphic wise with their feral/human forms, especially the helms...

It will probably change to suit whichever form they are in but remember once in combat they are forced to go worgen the human form it seems is only for cosmetic/stand around purposes. And I resent the statement about worgen I have wanted to play one since they day I saw them I'm glad I can tell which ones male and which ones female you cant with the normal worgen sure they look feral but thats because they are they dont have control of themselves. On the issue of blood elfs going back alli no horde on my server that I've seen when I made a horde toon and hopped over to ask wants to switch they want to roll alts. As for the Twilight thing I happen to like the book series so dissing it just because its popular makes you seem kind of rude just because YOU dont like it. I'll admit I have a problem with the sparkle vamps but thats it I like the werewolves. Most younger kids on MY server went blood elf because of shows like Dragon Ball Z and because of stuff like Lord of The Rings. Both good things but they can pretend to be that shiny elf or have that anime ponytail thats so popular. Any class can be played by a younger kid and for the record saying that all the little kids are playing alli just because of worgen or dissing the worgen just because you dont like them I find un-needed. I dislike male goblins but I dont go dissing them.

Its fantasy so I really dont mind - in the series they arent who I focus on. I can identify with something in that book which is probably why it appeals to me. No not to the whole vampire thing. But to another thing I'd rather not discuss but true I still /hug you Saturo - I know some people dont like it because of that but there are some who dont like it JUST because it got popular.

It should be more like Wuthering Heights.

Either way, I'll wait until we get some screenshots of female Worgen with hair to judge. But so far, they actually look pretty ferocious in combat.

As for Belves, I have to hear/think about Belfs and their effect on the Horde every day, and I feel obliged to make my character even more rugged than she would look according to my description (she currently has disheveled hair (I think I have a unhealthy liking for that or something,) more muscle than average, no massive knockers, etc.) just to overcome the stereotype.
