So. A compromise has been proposed.

First: The 'main' Giratina isn't slain but one of his bastard children.

Second: The RP takes place in between the canon of Rise of the Shadows and Battle for the Bridge, thereby preventing messed up canon while simultaneously being relevant.

Is this okay with everyone?

I would like to also offer a bit of an apology for all of this. I've been a little bit.. More irritable than usual, which I would like to say explains my behaviour. So yeah, I'm sorry for the giant fuss here. (Although I suppose, in the end, it did lead to the solution Azu just posted? So maybe its not all that bad. XD)

This actually makes much more sense in my mind, and I'm sorry for getting a tiny bit snippy. (Plus now there's a character I know I'll want to use.)

This change to the plot has caused a change in my character line-up. Which is good, cause I've got three characters I really wanna use for this.

Hm, do I stick with my idea of having characters on the side of order for this RP? If I do, do I use Gogoat? Do I have Gogoat be self-sufficient or do I give her a buddy (because she has hooves over hands)? If I give her a buddy do I pick something kind of cute/cool like a Cubone or Marowak or go totally weird and random with Loudred? Any thoughts/opinions? Or should I make another character for chaos since they still seem a bit short?

Well, don't let any fear for Chaos side be the end all option on what you do. It's a little less one-sided now at least? But yeah, moar chaos characters is always fun. Or something. I dunno. (And keep in mind many people who want Chaos chars haven't put theirs up yet.)

But regardless. Gogoat could be cool. The only big issue I can see with having Gen 6 pokemon this early on are there are no movesets, many of them don't have their full evolutions yet, and a lot of them lack typing or whatever. If you do go go-goat though, it could be interesting having one be on the Order and her helper being chaos or vice versa? And because they're friends they don't quit split, but eventually a boiling point is reached and they do so?

Edit: I'm also cleaning up some of the more aggressive posts that have been made in the threads, so that's why posts may be disappearing.

Oh i didn't think about that with the Gen 6 Pokemon. Hmm, i think I'll look for something in an older Gen then. Thanks for that reminder, Azu.

I don't know how soon you want to use this character but the actual X/Y comes out on the 12th and you could add them at a later date if you so choose.

I was thinking about using it when the RP started. I know the game comes out soon, but I'm actually going to just reconsider my whole character concept because I really only want to start off RPing one or two characters just to make sure I don't overwhelm myself and keep my interest level up and I personally have trouble imagining how hooved Pokemon do things on their own.

For the record, I've had experience RP'ing new Pokemon whose moves haven't been fully revealed yet. It can be annoying, but it can be done! It just takes a lot of guesswork. I can't speak for everyone, but I certainly wouldn't mind if you just winged it with what your Gogoat can learn, Tyger~ (I literally had to wing it in WoD, what with my Reshiram and Zekrom, trust me. XD I had no idea what moves they could learn besides some obvious ones and their signature moves!)

Well, I could certainly give it a try. How would you go about doing a hooved Pokemon, by chance? I just can't fathom how they would do certain tasks without the help of another Pokemon with hands, but maybe I'm just overthinking/being too realistic about it.

Hmm.. Well, using its mouth to grab things is one. It can move stuff with its hooves and horns, too! And.. For Gogoat, while I'm not sure if it'll learn Vine Whip or even Grass Knot, I'm sure it could do something similar by creating plants that it can control to grab things and such.

Well, if nobody sees using grass/plants to do those sorts of things as being too OP or anything (I promise I won't go overboard), I think I might give my Gogoat idea a try. It'll be good for me to try something new instead of playing it safe. Thanks for the input, Senna.

Sounds good to me. I just can't get any spurts of inspiration for an order character so I'll just start this thing off with Khaos.

Alrighty, since this seems to be our OOC thread for this RP so far.. Just popping in here to ask some things I've curious about.

First, I assume we'll be using the same thing of mentioning where our characters are in our posts? Like for example..

*Character name* - *Place name*

That sorta thing. Like in Fall of the Gods. I just wanted to check if we're doing that again.

And second.. Who exactly will be controlling Giratina in this RP? I feel like I should ask, given that, well.. Yeah. I do have Keir, so it might be useful to know who, if anyone, will be controlling Giratina. XD
