So, Krush Camping is kinda time consuming and a little boring. However, it is giving me the opportunity to work on these icons. Should be seeing more than a few updates as I try and whittle away the time, waiting for the big green lug to finally appear.

Now, I've never really been too happy with the Hyenas I did earlier. They just looked more like strange coloured spotted dogs more than the actual animal (this can kinda be accused of the model itself, but let's not dive into that) So, I decided to update them a little... And to do the rest of the colours too. :3



Hmmm, can't really see too much of a difference between the old and the new, can you?

Oh, and since there's quite a number of these things now, I've updated the first post. All the icons are sorted into pet family.

In my mind, the new ones look more hyena like. The old ones looke more felinish.

I'm sorry for taking a bit to answer, but could you make an icon for the blue version of the blighthound? I know they're not tamable, but I'm hoping they will be someday. And the Kurken icon looks absolutely amazing!

Will these do?
(Agree with the blue blighthound needing to be tamable. Such a lovely colour. Well, the Hellfire Rampart worg was made tamable just before Wrath, perhaps the blighthound will get the same treatment come Cata?)

Oh my gosh gorgeous! Thank you so much! Yeah, here's hoping they'll do just that with the blue beauties, which is why Toph's going to have a stable slot set aside permanently for one even if they're not made tamable anytime soon. I'm hoping that they'll make all the demon hounds tamable someday, with their own separate family from the wolves.

Eh, I get the feeling most people prefer the old ones, I'll have to figure how I missed the ball with these new guys and fix it.
I do want a good looking update for them though. I just kinda think they don't look as fantastic as they should.

And finally, I'm going to be removing the "pet requests only!!!!!11!" part of this topic. It's kinda dumb, especially as I've been breaking it a little myself. That said though, I still want to eventually make icons for all the tamable pets out there for various forum users to, well, use. So I'll be trying to add a new recolour/model with each upate to keep moving forward on this eventual goal.
