That would be one AWESOME spreadsheet, though! xD Only kidding. The spreadsheet is already full of awesome; it doesn't need Skorn in a cape.

(Although I'm sure there's a place for that as well.)

Anyway, back on topic, the new mastiff animations are indeed well done. And I'm glad of the running animations being posted here, as the original link only had one standing in the back, which doesn't show the full extent of the changes.

Glad I could be of service. It's a shame I didn't think to make an animated gif of the previous attacking animation for the mastiff, which was particuarly horrible and glitchy (more so than the running animation). Again, thankfully fixed.

I'll be on the lookout for other stuff I can find... using the model viewer anyway. Dumb beta invite only going to people with active accounts.

Sorry, dumb moment here, not too sure if you meant that you couldn't get model viewer to work with the latest beta patch or where to get the beta client.

For getting WMV to work with the latest beta build, downloading the latest version of the Dev Work version of WMV seems to work for me. It's the download right at the top of the list here. Check back after each new beta patch for up-to-date versions as well (seems they haven't updated with the most recent one).

As for getting the client itself... Well, I'm not too sure anymore. I picked up my client way back when the alpha was leaked (because I am a horrible person and had to play around with worgen). I assume you can probably still find the client somewhere, but I personally don't know. I'd check MMOwned to start with though. :\

I've had to reinstall the model viewer each patch to get it to recognize the newest patch data. I'm sure there's some smart way to do that without reinstalling, but everything I've tried crashes the viewer, so I just do it this way.

MMOwned is a good source for leaked content. They almost have a beta server up and running, even.

Well, good news, the alpha client works fine and has all the new critters. Just make sure it's fully patched and that you have the latest version of the WoW Model Viewer (Dev Work version). If the Model Viewer isn't current, then it won't show the models from the newer beta patches.

H'oy, I've got a couple of things to pass along. I noticed both of these while exploring the beta earlier today but they kinda slipped my mind after finding the bonespiders in Silverpine.

Firstly, Ghosthowl has become tameable:


and secondly, a rare Silithid in Tanaris has become untameable but also got a drastic facelift:
