I kinda agree on the shorter respawn time. 3-4 hours would be cool. Then peeps can camp and get the color they want without merging into the chair.

Hmm. I wonder if people who are camping for, say, the blue skin and have the green skin pop will alert other hunters when it spawns or if the more general rule will be "well this is the one that spawned so I tamed this for now and hope I'll get the skin I want later."

Actually that will probably be vastly different between hunters, so strike that. I doubt there'll be a general rule, just as there's no general rule now about whether people alert hunters when they come across tameable rares.

Yes!! Just one skin left! Now I'm certain they gave him all possible skins. The red one is already on Wowhead.

Could Blizzard have made the red skin rarer because of the same sort of reasoning behind the "Why? Because it's red!" achievement? Or is this a total coincidence?

Probably a coincidence. We've seen such a few reports so far.

Ok, I did a full sweep of Uldum last night, and only found two areas where Scorpids live. I'll do sweeps of the other area south west of the ruins of Amun, I think it is.

i just copied a Hunter to Gilneas- two times the hunter coverage!

It may be a good thing I just did the check with my Hunter on Gilneas server-

Well, so far, two blue, two green, one red. . .and if you read the lid on those chocolates, you know what you're going to get.

I'd like to add, I prefer the blue to the rest. I don't know why, the red just doesn't give me the same 'vibe', nor does the green, but that blue...

On the other hand, Maddexx hunting is a lot of fun . . .just remember, if you kill him you get his last tear because he wants to be your companion.

Ok, I have found Maddexx in three spots now. I'll try to work up a map for everyone. Here is the deal, though. Maddexx also seems to have a short spawn timer. I tamed him on Gilneas in Red at around 8:30 am, and I tamed him on the same server at round 2:30 pm (EDT) in a different spot. I then went to check on Lost Isles. I found him- DEAD!- in red. On Gilneas he was black. So far, I've seen all but one color- brown. So far, he is in the center near some ruins and a beast skeleton, and in either corner of the north end of the zone.

So, he has roughly a six hour spawn timer, five colors and three locations.

Thanks for all your work, Artemisia. You're certainly having a lot more luck finding him than I am! And congrats on the red. Now we have all colours confirmed!!

You're welcome. I love this guy. When I finally have a lvl 84 Hunter, I'll tame him lol.
