I feel so crappy.
I know I'm not the best artist, but I still woulda thought more than just ONE person would ask for a commission from me on FR.
Affording gene's is going to take so long.
I guess I'm more disappointed that no one seems to want anything though. I dunno. I was pretty sure I made my full color commissions pretty cheap too. Ugh. IDK.

The market has crashed so hard I'm starting to doubt it's ever going to recover.
I'm feeling less and less motivated to play this game as the days go by. I mean, I love my dragons, I love the concept of the site, but without a stable economy it's honestly not very fun any more. I enjoy saving up for new genes and apparel, but the backbone of Flight Rising should still be breeding, and currently there are too many babies, not enough buyers, and prices are dropping to the point where it's hardly worth it. At first it was nice having goals to spiff up your dragons, thinking that in the long run the investment would be worth it since you could then breed the pretty dragons and make pretty babies that would sell well. Now? Not really much profit to be made doing anything, and it's just going to get worse.

I absolutely agree. My motivation levels have just dropped. Like I don;t even care what lagt he site would go through as long as there were more people that could buy my dragons.
Like I've even decided I'm not going to breed anymore starter breeds until registrations are open again for good. Unfortunately I decided this AFTER I bred like three starter pairs, and right now I'm desperately trying to find homes for some of my dragons just so I can hatch at least ONE of the nests. I don't want to pay for another stupid lair expansion that I don't actually need. I'd have plenty of space if I could just sell these dragons.

After this super crazy breeding chaos I'll be going through from like mid-way next week till the end of September, I don't even think I'll breed my scrolled and gene'd pairs like my PC's and Wildclaws. Like, maybe one nest out of the whole lot, and definitely my Imperial, but I'm at the point right now where there's little point in doing anything other than gathering, petting my familiars, and coliseum. And that's mostly just for the food to keep my dragons fed and the money I can make from gathering and coli. I don't think I'll be donating anymore, I'll just grind up the treasure for gem scrolls and let those who are still enthusiastic about the game do the donating to buy those things instead.

It's been very hard for me to get the motivation to do anything on the site this week :/

i still love the site and the concept and i will still play it.. but i finding it less likely that i will spend another 340k on a breedchange.. the site really needs to do something about the economy... i hate reading on forums that its TOTALLY fine and the main economy should not be hatchling and breeding.... but i feel that is wrong...i dont have the health nor the time to grind on fairgrounds/colisium to make money to throw at my dragons which nobody wants... it´s sad
and my dragons eat too much.. every second day i have to use turns to gather food if not more... its to expensive keeping them healthy if you see how much they are worth..

Mine eat a lot as well.. Sure enough, I do have more dragons, but for refilling 3 health points (or whatever it's called) they eat a crapton. Too much.
Edit: And of the stupids eat mostly insects.. Spending 15 gathering turns on insect catching each day is not near enough.

The market is stablizing it self now. This is intended and how it should be. Stop complaining
yup thats the general idea you get after reading on the forums.....
i have to disagree...but i stopped posting on fr forums now... its hopeless and pointless.....
If they introduced an easier way to make treasure maybe it would not matter that pearlies sell for 9-15k.... but still ... then they should lower the price on the breed change scrolls..
i dont favor dragons being obsolete and stop being able to breed either which is a topic on quite a few on the topics there....
i think breeding cd are high enough and i REALLY feel that ppl should get more for their dragons... if it was me i would raize all exhalting prices to half the breed change...
e.g.non gened starters = 25k...; - with tiger on then + half the tiger scrolls cost and so on....
but thats just me

Look on the bright side guys. I still play Neopets (not as much recently but still) and to buy a paint brush to make your Neopet look the way you want it to look costs MILLIONS

I seriously think they need to ditch the 'one account only lol' restriction. I'd have a lot more breeding programs if I had places to put/arrange them, like one lair for red/browns, one for black/gray/white, one for blue/green... it'd let people keep more of their dragons instead of immediately throwing everything they get onto the AH.

My bf accidentally got two accounts and I think Rawr takes care of her bf's account (so she basically has two)
If you REALLY wanted to, I think you could

This.. sooo much this.. i want an account for each lair type so i can arrange my dragons with eye colors and not breed in someone elses stable

There are some new accents going around the AH and they're so beautiful... and so expensive ;_; I want them, but first I'd need to buy the dragon that perfectly fit them, which are like.... Wildclaws, Imperials, and Skydancers... and then drop another 150k on the accent. Gah.

I really, really wish they'd completely do away with the ridiculous lair expansion costs; that's the main limitation for me. There's so many dragons I
would buy if I could afford to expand my lair. I'd certainly be willing to purchase more hatchlings! I'm happy to buy genes, breed scrolls and such-- but everything's so darn expensive, especially without dragon sales to bump up your income. I had to decline an offer of my ~dream dragon~ because I just could not find the space! It's certainly not a realistic suggestion and would likely lead to more problems in the future, but-...
LAIR SPACE REALLY, REALLY IRRITATES ME.
People are just getting to the point where they're limited by room, and demand dries up entirely.

same! i wanna buy dragons.. ohh how i wanna buy dragons.. but room

150k only give me 5 more spots... i want more..
also i think food is a problem.. i use all my gathering turns on food .. i read a post in the forum claiming that the more dragons you got the more they should get out of forraging cause you got more dragons to dig/hung/scavenged.. not more turns just more out from the turns.. i thought that was reasonable

I'm running into the same issues. No space.

Keeping mine fed, etc. The FR team really needs to address some of these ASAP.

Just watched the perfect WC mate one of my Imps being bought. Asked the person who bought her if she'd sell her to me... They asked for double what they bought her for :/
