Cannot unsee.

Still, his horns are longer than the WoW goats' horns - still physically impossible. ;)

So's a #$%^load of other stuff in game. Don't be so nitpicky, it makes us all look bad.

No need to get hostile. I'm just suggesting that that single emote be altered to be slightly less awkward with respect to the in-game goats.

OK, so overall, aside from some basically typos from rushing it, its ok? Good to hear. :) I'll fix the typos and repost.

I had to change the names of the custom files to default in order for the new pet families to work. Is this the norm? The version of PetEmote on Curse also has older custom files.

Do be sure to check which version of PetEmote you have; Jorna's old addon is still on Curse alongside Efindel's updated one. Make sure you're using Efindel's.

I, too, thought this emote was a bit too much of a stretch for my own comfort. I just forgot to mention it in my own post. I don't think having or voicing a reasonable opinion makes anyone look bad, particularly when feedback was specifically requested.

I got the one from Kalliope's post, version 1.8.1 and I had to change the names of the files after pasting in the newer custom files from this thread. I had to change the default files to .bak files and rename the custom ones to default. Without doing that, none of the new families like Quilens, Cranes, etc. would work. Even typing /pe random would not do anything.

Another thing is this. With the addon enabled, regular emotes no longer work. If I type in /e, nothing happens. I can still do things like /dance, etc, but no hand typed emote except pet ones after typing /pe.

I've been using a fairly old version of PetEmote with no issues. I may not have the emotes for the newer pet families, but compared to the reports I've seen with issues for the new one, I'm okay with sacrificing that for a working addon. xD

I tried an older version and it didn't work at all. Version 1.8.1 works fine but to get the new families I had to change the custom files to default by renaming them.

I've been using what I think is Jorna's last update to the addon and it hasn't caused any problems for me.

My quilen is doing aggressive emotes at friendly targets. Roaring, crouching, prepared to spring, etc.

You can still download the custom files for the new families without using the updated PetEmote from Curse you know :P But wait until I repost cause apparently I made...a few errors

Anyway, fixed the gender and targeting errors. Anything else you guys have noticed?

Oh cool, I wasn't sure if the newly added emotes would work with my older version. :)

Worms have an emote in which they gurgle in the first person rather than the third. :) Noticed that while bonding with my super-cute silkworm!

Kasky, I know you posted this over a year ago, but I wanted to say how much I love it. Back when Jorna was still hosting the addon on her own site I wrote a bunch of English emotes for it, including the one in which a spider attaches a strand of silk to you before going off to search for food. Seeing it illustrated really made my day.

I only just reinstalled PetEmote after taking a long break from WoW, so I haven't seen many of the new emotes yet, but it's impressive how broad and deep the coverage is now.

I would say they won't. I had never used PetEmote until a few days ago and the first download I tried was the last one from the original author. It wouldn't work at all for any pets. I then got 1.8.1 and it worked but not for the new families. As I have said before, I had to dump the default files and get the latest custom ones from this thread and rename them to default to get everything working.

There is the chance that the download from the original author doesn't actually work anymore now that she doesn't actually upkeep the addon and someone else has taken over, but I'm probably wrong. Teigs says it should work, however, before I actually installed them I would save a backup copy of the way my addon is right now in case worst comes to worst and the new emotes break my addon. ;) Considering my current hunter doesn't even really have any of the new pets, I'm not too bothered not having them for right now.

The addon from Jorna from Curse doesn't work at all. Don't bother with it. The only way you can use a version of hers is if you didn't update to Efindel's but kept the update she did before she retired. Do not download her version from Curse. It WILL break the addon. I have her last version, just in case, and can post it if desired. Yes, the custom files I posted will work with either version. Just in case, copy the whole folder before trying the custom files, but I am pretty dang sure it will be fine.
