More 5th gen fun facts!
The new Electric type leech/lamprey evolution line is the only one since the 1st gen to require a Thunderstone for final form
The Ghost/Fire evolution line is the only one where a non-2nd gen pokemon evolves with a Dusk stone
Boappu (Fire monkey) is the only pokemon outside of 1st gen that evolves with Fire Stone
Ononokusu (the final form of Kibago) is the only Dragon pokemon to end a 3 stage evolution line and be both a pure dragon and a non-pseudo-legendary
Of all Ice types in 5th gen, the legendary Ice/Dragon is the only dual typed Ice pokemon
The pre-evolved form of the Electric/Bug spider pokemon is currently the smallest pokemon in the world. (No it can not breed with Wailord)
Jaroda (Tsutarja's final form) is the only legless starter and the only starter based on a snake
Pokabu's evolution line are the only starters with a signature move, Heat Stamp
Genosect (legendary Bug/Steel) and the Fire/Bug moth are the ONLY bug types that can learn Fly, ironically they are not flying types.
The Ground/Ghost golem pokemon can learn fly as well.

The final form of the new Rock/Flying bird fossil pokemon has the 2nd highest base stat total of all non-legendary and non-pseudo-legendary pokemon with a total of 567 (the same number as its National pokedex number). The highest is Slaking. Both pokemon have a self-hindering ability.
