Might I make a suggestion?

I've seen this waterstrider emote several times and it kinda bugs me just a teensy bit. The 'glowing with a pallid orange light' one. Might I suggest removing the 'orange' in it? Not all waterstriders are orange (mine is red). Only one is orange(one or two others have an orange light on them though). I imagine it'd look awkward on a blue waterstrider or green.

Agreed; any color-specific emotes feel weird, since they're usually not a match.

No, they don't look right now that I have one. I agree. Fine for Outland ones, who have more color, but not the buggy ones.

Yeah it's fine for the fen striders since most of them have the orange light but the water walker ones, not so much.

Along a similar vein, the raptors all adjust various bits of jewelry which feels a tad odd on the outlands raptors but makes perfect sense for the regular ones. Just a minor thing.

Serpents have the "tounge" typo in the emote, "Serpent flicks his forked tongue out at %t."

Ah! I remember this addon from back in BC. Will have to try it sometime soon.

Two things. First...found a bug in the dog emotes. The "chuffs happily" emote doesn't seem to have an "at his/her master" setting, only "mistress." And poor Tahlian is very definitely a male blood elf. :D

Second...is there any reason why 200-600 pound big cats are meowing like domesticated cats? I don't think tigers and lions actually make that noise. If they do, it's probably restricted to only interactions with their cubs. Could this action maybe be changed to "chuffs" or "chirps" or some other noise? Although I do admit that chirping might look odd to some coming from a cat, big cats do indeed make that noise, especially when calling for their young.

Erm...only cat I know that 'chirps' are cheetahs. So that would be one skin out of dozens.

I sometimes get the words "new secondary emote" in the middle of an emote with my Quilen pet. I also get things like "Ruishi snarls at <no target>".

I could far more easily deal with "cheating" that one particular behavior to all big cats than I could my tiger sounding like a little bitty kitty.

I'd rather not have my big sambas 'chirping', especially when lions don't do that. Most cats do mewl whether high or low pitched.

There needs to be a link to this on the front page or something so we don't have to keep digging for the link. xD

Same, and some of the others will occasionally chain in an awkwardly redundant manner. He's a bit surly at times in spite of being stuffed to bursting, as is my warp stalker.

Those minor nitpicks aside, you guys are doing an awesome job with this!

Hehe, minor nitpicks are being fixed as they are found. I haven't posted a corrected file yet cause I'm waiting to find more them. And the more time I spend with my quilen, the more I realize that didn't go so well...
As for the meowing....that was in there by the original author and I never changed it. I agree it seems odd. But I don't know what to use.
Oh, and the surliness....somehow I messed up the level of happiness on some, so they are being snarky when they shouldn't. Some of it is deliberate, with cats and quilen, as they seem moody as cats are. Mostly happy but with the occasional typical cat attitude.

I actually kinda like the meowing, even tho it's not realistic. It's a game, who says we can't take a few liberties with feline vocal apparatus? :-) We think nothing of having flying pets who never have to land, or 6 legged beasties, so big cats who can purr, meow, AND roar isn't too big of a stretch.

Makes sense with the cats and quilen. I'm used to EXTREMELY good natured kitties so I kinda forgot about that, but the way you explain it fits.

Warpstalker and nether ray are the ones I've mostly seen issues with outside of that. I tend to tame a lot but only regularly use a few so I could be missing issues elsewhere, and also tend to put pets up who seem to be grumpy in favor of my reliably cheerful ravagers and Madexxes.

Hi ^_^ I seem to be having a problem with mine... None of the new pet families will display the new emotes D: I've tried reinstalling it several times, and nothing >_< Is there something I'm doing wrong? I don't understand. I'm downloading it from the link to curse that was shown a few pages back (and apparently on a few posts above mine, heh), so I know it's the right one. If anyone could help that would be lovely~

The curse link doesn't contain the new family emotes. Those are downloaded separately from the zip file on page 1. :)
