Decay - Crystalsong

Decay hit a tree rather hard, a deep metal clang coming from her armor. She vibrated slightly from the resonations, and looked a little disoriented. The frost runes on her weapons started glowing, and she seemed to grow paler, the glow in her eyes intensifying to a pure maliciousness. ((Lichborne.)) The unholy runes on her weapons seemed to be reveling, and she absorbed the power. ((Death Coil self-heal.))

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Indi swung her axe with all the force she could muster at Decay's chest, her eyes beginning to glow red as she went in for another death strike.

Decay - Crystalsong Forest

Decay groaned as the strike hit. A crack opened in her armor, and she growled, lunging at Indi with a series of quick, frosty, rune-empowered strikes.

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Indi cried out in pain as the attacks hit her, pushing her backward. She sluggishly pulled her axed into a parry position. Once more she attempted to summon chains around Decay's feet as she tried to back away from the other death knight, chanting once more for a heal.

Decay - Crystalsong

The chains slowed Decay down a bit, but she was slightly more prepared, and they were dissipating a little faster now. She made a whipping motion with both her swords, and a wall of chilly winds appeared, flying towards Indi quickly.

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

The howling wind ripped right through Indi's leather armor and froze her to the bone. She began to frantically boil her own blood to bring her body temperature back up so that she could attack more efficiently. As she did so, she performed a quick chant and her rune axe made a copy of itself. The second, spectral like, weapon aimed for Decay while Indi tried wheeling around to the other death knight's side, hoping to flank Decay.

Decay - Crystalsong

Decay was busy trying to parry the duplicate runeweapon's attacks.

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Seeing Decay caught up with her duplicate weapon, Indi set the ground to boiling under Decay and lashed out at the back of the other death knight's legs, hoping to hamstring her. Her weapon glowed with unholy power, and if it struck would inflict Decay with a nasty disease ((plague strike)).

Decay - Crystalsong Forest

Decay could see Indi about to hit her trough the corner of her eye, and quickly focused her frost energies. She purged the air around them of all heat, hoping to freeze the other death knight inside a solid block of ice. ((Hungering Cold.))

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Indi cursed herself as she became frozen in a block of ice. She should have known better as it was Decay's signature move.

Decay - Crystalsong Forest

Decay retrieved a bandage from her bags, and slowly started wrapping herself up in it.

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Furious, Indi heated her blood up to dagerous levels, shattering the iceblock she was encased in and sending it flying all over the place in deadly shards. However, the action cost her precious energy and she sank to one knee, panting for breath.

Decay - Crystalsong Forest

Decay stopped bandaging herself, and looked over at the other death knight curiously. "Sure you're not overexerting yourself?"

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Indi's eyes faded back to their usual blue and she grimaced as she felt a wince of pain spike through her temples. "I think I'm toying with the edge of my control a bit much," she replied.

Decay - Crystalsong Forest

"Just take it easy, 'kay?"

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

"There is nothing easy about fighting you," Indi joked, returning to a standing position.

Decay - Crystalsong Forest

"You'd be surprised.", Decay muttered. "My skill isn't in blades, it's in organizing armies."
She sighed. "What you just saw was the very top of my skills."

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Indi chuckled. "To be honest, I couldn't even tell you what the top of my skill range would be. I imagine you saw it because if I was performing at my absolute peak, I'd probably be under the control of the blood."

Decay - Crystalsong

Decay nodded, and looked up at Dalaran. "Think we should go back?"

Indigosa--Crystalsong Forest

Indi nodded. "Might as well. I'm sure we've caused a bit of worry with our disappearance."

She let forth a whistle and Moonstalker came running over to her mistress. Indi resaddled the undead horse and turned to Decay. "Want a ride back to the portal?"
