Question for those G1 lovers:

Hatched this boy: Oil/Tarnish/Amber



Listed him on AH for 700,000t and I woke this morning to a PM asking if I would sell him for 400,000t...is that a good deal for a g1 with 3 new colors...or should I ask for more?

Personally I think it's a good deal.

I think the best part about this for me was the adding of the specialty tab. Really needed that.

The Specialty tab makes me squee!

Also uh....this happened. XD

There was a party hat in my Specialty tab last night and I tried to open it when the server went back down, anyone know what was in there? I can't find anything new in my horde.

The owner of my Kithren's father (still want to know how he ended up where he is...) contacted me about possibly selling or exalting him. That's not the main point though as they're also offering away his current mate. She's a 2 year old 7-digit obs/crim/crim. Not gen1 and thoroughly bred but I know a couple of people here like to collect old dragons so I thought I'd check if anyone would be interested.

Heheh, they're the parents of my Contessa as well. I've always loved that Kithren (who you know I adore) is the big brother of one of my permanent dragons.

There's a live update going on right now, but part of it is news explaining a new mechanic(?) to appear in FR in the future! Apparently, the site creators find it unfair that newer players are pretty much barred from obtaining very old items. They want players that join to be able to obtain future holiday items and skins even after said holiday has long passed without having to spend possibly hundreds of thousands, if not millions of treasure or gems.

It's under the part that says "Joxar's Spare Inventory". They aren't going to un-retire any old holiday items (except for the 2015-16 Holiday crowns, which apparently will be part of it), but all holiday items added from here on out are going to be put in a pool of potential pulls from a chest that you can purchase once every holiday.

The part of this announcement that caught my eye, though, was under the part where they explained what sort of items will be found in the chest, and the percentage of getting them -

* 35% chance of producing a new recolor/new color variant of past holiday items unique to this chest. (initial pool of 4-11 items)
* 20% chance of producing themed apparel (crowns) from the June '15 - May '16 holiday season or of producing June '16 - May '17 vistas. (initial pool of 22 items)

So we're going to get unique recolors of holiday familiars, and also Vistas are going to be a part of upcoming Holidays!
Sounds pretty cool to me.

Now they just need to do that with sprites and ks apparel/familiar
