She looks so cute and just perfcect!! I can't wait for my tauren to be updated! <3

The female Tauren is definitely an improvement, for me. But I still would have loved to see them a little larger-framed and more curvaceous. They are cows after all. But then they were constrained by not wanting to depart too much from the original, so I think they probably did a good job within those strictures

I love it. I really hope Bliz doesn't pull a *gag* female worgen and fart around with it too much. I could nitpick it but my issues with this are tiny, much less than the girl draenei. I like it. Not every race has to have fap-bait girls... tauren are freakin' MINOTAURS not Hooters waitresses with horns glued on...

She's perfect!!! I cannot wait to see my horde main now all fresh and new. Yes it's not a moo-cow nose but it's better than the old!

Only reason fem worgen got fussed with is cause people whined about them the first time around.

I know. I just hope they don't listen to the whiners this time around either. Because there's an awful lot of prepubescent boys (or mentally-prepubescent boys) that have been all WAH WAH NOT ENOUGH BOOBS TOO MANLY WAH DOESN'T LOOK LIKE FAP BAIT as usual.

I just hope they aren't afraid to really remodel the female worgen, not just update her. Unlike the other models, I think "staying true to the original" isn't a good idea here.

Make her look more wolfish and not like a bulgy-eyed Chihuahua. Fix her breasts... Not only a size reduction, but they just look off. Like they can defy gravity xD Would be nice to have a few "mane" options similar to the males' as well. Maybe a tail option, too. Long tail, medium tail, no tail... Just a simple wolf tail, nothing like the new talbuks'.

It's sad that the alpha model was such a huge improvement over the final version. It had it's faults but was NOTHING like the monstrosity we have now. And I still get sad seeing stuff like this, after all these years:



But there are a lot on Deviantart that are huge improvements. You don't have to slap human hair on a werewolf to have hair styles. Long manes that look natural can still be braided, curled.. whatever, and would look a lot better.

It's just... after seeing the tauren and how nice their fur looks, I really really really hope they do worgen females right this time and learn from their mistakes. I'd most definitely level a worgen to 100 asap if they did her justice.

I was pretty sure they said they where not updating Goblins or Worgen, just the BC and Vanilla races. :S

I believe they said that they might poke at worgen a bit, but they wouldn't do a full remake at all.

I can say if the do update them they wont be using any fan edits. That mainly would be for legal reasons.

Of course they can't use fan edits, but they can still get ideas and inspiration from fan edits. (and I just posted them to show my ideal fem worgen ) Anyways, I could have sworn they were doing worgens and goblins, but not for launch and definitely after the other races.

If I had to bet on them remodeling worgens and goblins, I would.. No clue when, but eventually. Sure, they aren't as old as the other character models, but seeing them next to the new models... they obviously look terribly outdated, even goblins which actually aren't too bad.

They are going to touch them up as they do need it.

Personally I hope they do. I don't play my worgen at all because of her looks. I've almost race changed her but keep holding out that SOMEDAY gnomes can be hunters. Till then angry chihuahua she'll stay.

I dont mind them but I'd like the eternal snarl to go away

OH NO THE FEMALE TAUREN IS SO CUTE... Between this and that new Feral Druid talent, I will TOTALLY be getting back to my Tauren girly when the expansion hits. She's gonna look so cute and awesome and just.. Aaahhhh! I'm so in love with the new fem Tauren <3

The girl worgen need a ton of serious help. The males look cool but their colors don't jive; their druid fur colors are mixed up (tan cat has brown bear, brown cat has tan bear), and while the ONE THING they got right on the girls is having fur color parallel skin color (light fur = light skin) the males are all kinds of jumbled. Dark tan skin = white fur? Black skin = sable fur? Light tan skin = black fur? It just doesn't make any sense, it's like they assigned them randomly. Also they could use more variation just because there's like 10-12 fur colors/patterns for girls and only 5 for the boys so all the male worgen kinda look the same.

I think a re-do of the female Worgen might be one of the only things that could (maybe) pull me back to WoW. I know that seems silly, being pulled back because of a model update and not because of any really specific content, but the female Worgen were the best-worst thing to happen to WoW for me. I was always a huge werewolf fan and I sat through all the beta and alpha stages and they just got worse and worse... yet I had hope. And the final thing was possibly the ugliest thing they could've pulled out their ass. I was so disappointed.

It's time now for Blizzard to get over the fact that people whined and give us what we really wanted. (And if they look 'furry', that's fine by me, furry is good.)

If I recall, I believe I remember a tweet not long ago that a Blue said that "they were not at all happy with where female worgen were". I think they also said that they're pretty okay with the male version, but the female needs work. Touch-ups or revisiting will be redone, I imagine, as they claimed that both Worgen and Goblins are using outdated skeletal rigging and they want to put all of the races on the same level as Pandaren (which utilize a new set of "bones" in comparison to the older races).

Do I think the females will be radically changed? Most likely not, but if they could soften those buggy bedroom eyes, ease up on the permasnarl, and get rid of that apple-domed skull of theirs then I'd be a much happier camper. As far as the men go, I'd like more fur options like the women and for their body color to match that of their face.
