Karrrrkin. I don't have him on me, dangit. This means a run through the fire and a flight to the stablemaster! Anyway, to tame: Same as Skarr, really. Pull with tame beast, silence shot, tame for real. If you aren't MM, you can tame by having a lot of haste. I haven't done it as non-MM, so I don't have much experience that way. Here's face shot of crabzilla:

Image

Another shot of Karkin:

Image

Tried to get a good shot of his back. He's got a really bright red spot on his back that really looks neat with his gemmy coloration:

Image

Karkin from behind. He and Sara sitting at the Shrine of Malorne, a little nightsaber pet snuck in the picture:

Image

Karkin and Sara, sitting in the Molten Front near Karkin' spawn point (likely pissing off some people with NPCscan):

Image

All in all, I like Karkin. He is so cute for a crab, and the only crab pet I have (besides Ghostcrawler who doesn't count because he is special). He is tenacity, so he is a tank pet. He isn't a pet you use for raid dps, no matter how pretty he looks. He's pretty sought after on my server, which is a feat (considering my server is the place where you have to beg someone to tame Deth'tilac) and I got lucky when I found him. I tamed and found him when the other hunters in the area were camping Skarr, so I could tame him guilt and competition-free! He tanks pretty well. As I think I said in another review, he tanked a few elite mobs in ZA before going down. He's a very hardy fellow. I give Karkin two thumbs up!

Exotics: Yes
Restrictions: Can only review pets. Stables are full. Have all Firelands and Cata/WOTLK rares, and Gezzarak the Huntress, along with a turquoise and yellow parrot and a sword in the head wolf. Also just got Aotona. Dropped Olm the Wise for the green parrot again. Can still review it. Your site calls the parrot green and yellow, but he looks more turquoise on my screen. He's pretty. :D

Copy/paste my roll format thingy and use that for both/either of your hunters. Whichever you want to do it on. Or if you want to do it on both, do it twice.

can I recommend one for starkittens?

starkittens
Gosh-Haldir
Image

Gosh-Haldir was The Large Loch Crocolisk of old before Cata updated her into the new-model rare. She is the broodmother of the crocolisks that are found there. Added in patch 1.11.1

Hope you like my suggestion .. good luck!

Here is finally my report on this guy:
Image

This raptor skin can only be found as rare in Un'Goro or in the Wetlands. Since Nerdanel is not high enough to go to Un'Goro she made a trip to the wetlands and found one of the raptors there very nice. The are between level 22 and 23, she was 27 at this point and the taming went smooth and simple.
Her new raptor is now named Drunken.

Appearance:

Dunken is the only non-spiked raptor without any feathers or silly collars. He is of a nice mossy green with orange stripes and a light green belly.
I like his colour very much.
Image
Then his eyes: they gave Drunken his name. They are small little yellow slits. Almost every other raptor has nice big eyes (I don't mind the yellow - they are raptiles), but he has these narrow eyes. They are cirkled with a really dark, almost black green, that gave me the impression that he has to be on some kind of drug and no sleep. That's where his name comes from. Drunken.
Frome some angles he looks really mean with these eyes.
Image

Sounds animations:

His animations are quite poor - he only opens his maw once in a while a little bit and waggles his claws. Nothing very adventurous, but he moves and shows he's alive.
Sounds: his sounds are nice. He makes sounds I would expect of a reptile animal, something like hisses and shrieks. Nothing too loud or uncomfortable for my ears.
Swimming: I love to watch him swimming, he moves with such grace and beauty in the water, he really seems to enjoy it. He makes himself really long, almost like a snake and pushes himself forward with his strong legs.

Fighting:

Drunken is a ferocity pet, so he makes good dps. Although on Nerdanel's level it doesn't really make a difference which class the pet has. I did a lot of quests with him, and both dinged 32 soon. He didn't hold aggro very well, but Nerdanel makes too much damage at the moment for a pet to hold aggro (even her turtle Tuffy doesn't). I didn't mind, the mobs were dead before they could reach her.
Drunken's ability is to tear the enemy's armour, like warriors do. It reduces the armour of my enemy, which means he takes more damage. It's really nice to have, if the group is missing a warrior.
He fights enemies by jumping at them and hitting them with his claws. It is really funny to watch him bounce up and down and hit.

Conclusion:

Drunken is a very nice pet, and perhaps even a keeper. I like his skin and how he fights.

Oh god I feel terrible for forgetting about this!! This is months late but -rushes out to tame-

My random pet was the Beige Moth. I've never really ever had a moth, aside from briefly (very briefly) having the white one from Borean Tundra.

But, anyways, here's some crappy screenshot's of Zui and her moth buddy, going on a fishing adventure.

Mothie's native home in Terokkar Forest.
Image

Crocolisks in the city is up! :headbang:
Image

Just fishin.'
Image

Mothie's good luck :D
Image

Animation and Sound

Mothie constantly does a fluttering motion, and sound. After watching her for awhile, I haven't seen..any special animation.
The flutter sound is very quiet, though, even with my sound turned up quite high it wasn't bothersome, so if you're bothered by the wing flap noises on other critters this one isn't bad.

Spell / Utility

Mothie could be used in arena and BGs, seeing as she has a spell interrupt that: Interrupts the enemy's casting, and prevents any spell from that school of magic being cast again for 4 seconds. This spell as a 42 second cooldown. Mothie's ferocity, so her dps will be on par with other ferocity pets, though I wouldn't suggest dungeoning with it since it's buff is pvp oriented. :)

Conclusion

All in all I like the model, though I wish the wings were a little more..moth like, rather than butterfly-ish. The colour of this one specifically is pretty plain, so I might tame a more colourful one. I think Mothie is going to stay with me for awhile, either as this colour or another. :)

Sorry it took me so long Kormai

Can I go again to make up for it?

Actually Zuilu, interrupt pets are not just PvP oriented and can be quite useful in some PvE situations where your group, or even yourself, might be lacking on interrupts. It is also worth noting that the actual cooldown of Serenity Dust is one minute; 42 seconds is from the reductions being BM gives pet specials. :)

Apologies these rolls are coming so late, I've been lazy and Kormai must be busy with real life.

Your images aren't showing up starkittens--it doesn't look like they're being uploaded properly or something. The image tags need to be placed around a .jpg (or .bmp, .png) link. I'd recommend uploading them to a place like Photoshop, ImageShack, or something first. Also, just showing us a picture of the pet isn't enough to count as a report; I'd recommend reading about how to make a report on the front page. :D

Yes, it -can- be helpful in PVE situations, but unless you have no other interrupts, you're going to benefit from using something else a lot more. Devilsaur, cat, wolf, etc, so it would have been silly for me to say 'go ahead and use this in every dungeon you enter.' xD
