Totally new subject.. Anyone wants to do a shared breeding mathingie ?

I got Oak ready for a nest.. so if you got a girl you think matches him let me knw It will be in my nest tomorrow. I wont boon the nest and the hatchlings will have plague eyes but if you can live with that it could be fun! You get the majority share of the hatchlings. if 1 you get it, if 3 you get 2 etc.

Var, it is.

I'm a little disappointed...it's yet another gene I have no access to. It just feels like all the ones I like cost gems.

Now i had time to play with it in the scrying workshop I kinda like it.. on some colors. on other colors i cannot see the difference between Metalic and Iridescent..

It looks neat, but I am concerned about how drastically it changes the base colors...Caribbean looks more like Phthalo color, and Cyan looks more Caribbean. Abyss looks lighter then Phthalo even though color wise it -should- be darker?
I think I would like it more if the gene kept the actual color and not changed it to something 2-4 colors off...

I actually realy like it on black and obsidian. .on some breeds...

Maybe I'm the minority, but I'm loving it so far. I finally found a primary gene I prefer for black and other primaries with the weird bellies (when I don't want to use UB or Glimmer as a tert). I also like the idea that it changes the base color a bit when compared to other genes where everything always looks the same. It definitely gives me more options for certain dragons! Plus I've always been a bit of a fan for molten metal looks.

Here's one of my dragons scryed with black metallic and runes VS black iridescent and runes VS black crystal and runes. Black metallic is a million times better. I've been waiting for something like this. Crystal was just far too fractured and bright to show runes well and iridescent always had that horrid belly. So much love for this new gene!

I have some who needs the genes.. mostly black/obs dragons.. and then my egyptian pair heh

Just to throw this out there for our folks here who might be newish to Flight Rising/new to the new crossroads system: If you're looking to give away your dragons for free, you need to be the one to set up the crossroads. If you ask the person interested in your dragons to do it, then a two-way trade must be set up and the person receiving the dragon will have to give something in return. I hope this helps people.

FR Secret Santa
Anyone doing or have done this? I thought about it but very unsure.

I'm going to skip on holding my Petopian Secret Santa this year. I'm just not feeling up to coordinating it and putting in that work, sorry folks. And definitely not going to do a random FR one. xD

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, so thats what the little bird was, I thought they modeled it after the Red-necked Canadian Goose. (cuz of the X on the neck)
