When we did project on regular paper, we taped it down until it dried.

Seriously? I have an orthodontist appt. the fifteenth, which is when my last final is. My French teacher told me I could either A. Reschedule it, or B. Take it another day when I should be taking different finals. She refused to do it on the designated make up days.
So I had to ask my mom to reschedule the appt., and she's upset with me for it, like it's my fault my teachers is annoying.

Me: Oh look, it's a nice, sunny day outside today! It's been raining and cloudy for the past week now. I had better capitalise on this and do some laundry, I've been in dire need of some clean clothes for a while.
Sky God: Oh ho ho ho? What is this? Moonlost needs to do some washing? I can't have that! *Summons clouds and rain*

I have this one boss at work I cannot stand, and sadly he is the one that id directly my boss. He is in charge of the front end (I work in a grocery store) and I am a cashier. All the other (4) managers are completely approachable, I feel comfortable talking with them and discussing things and working out any issues that come up with stuff, they're great. But, not this guy...He's pretty much this is whats happening and if you dont like it, thats your problem, deal.
Our schedules are posted in a 3week way, that is current week, next week and week after. Which is good, my BF who also works at the same place (different deptment) can look at both our schedules side by side and then we can figure out who needs to watch our daughter when and for how long. Well, yesterday I got a phone call saying that my shift on sunday had been changed...I know had a shift that overlapped my BF shift for 7 hours, instead of the 15min overlap...So I had to talk to this boss and tell him I couldnt work that shift because we didnt have anyone to watch our daughter for that long (I only work 2 days a week btw). His response was "I have to maximise the night service desk/self serve shifts for the most senior people, so I had to switch your shift with this person, I cant give you your shift back, you'll have to figure it out yourself" Now, this is over the phone so he couldnt see how mad I was, but there was about a 15sec dead space before I (must have sounded very sarcastic) I said "thanks for your help" and hung up the phone.
A few minutes later he did call back to tell me that I could call the other cashier who was on the closing shift and see if she would be willing to switch shifts with me. After some confusing back and forths between that cashier, and work we got things sorted out and I got my shift back. And this time I sincerily thanked my boss for the help.
Now though I've got brick of lead in my chest because my BF's father who was going to watch her for that overlap text my BF saying he had to work and couldnt watcher, so instead of calling me first to discuss options, he went and gave up his shift for that day...we dont have a lot of money and really cant afford to have him drop shifts like that. And it pretty much makes all the shit i went through yesterday for nothing. Needless to say these next 2 days are going to suck...

Dear Razzashi Hatchling,
I have spent a lot of time in Stranglethorn over the past three days, mass murdering everything that has crossed my path. The Hyacinth Macaw finally agreed to come with me last night, after countless visits to a mailbox and a vendor to clear out my bags, and far too many hours. You, however, still elude me. Is it the perfume? I would gladly stop using it just for you.
I know I can seem really scary, running around in the forest you call home with various spirits, but I can assure you, I would never let anything bad happen to you.
If it's about the Lashtail Hatchling that keeps following me, he is not part of my gang - I've told him countless times to leave me alone, but he always manages to find me. Stalkers...
Best wishes,
Nanyana

And on a more RL note, it's too damn hot in here! @.@ The best answer seems to be a wet towel on my shoulders, but I'd rather not be constantly wearing soaking wet clothes...

Deth'tilac needs to go spawn so I can throw myself at his face and die repeatedly for science. I've never been so eager to rack up a repair bill the size of New Zealand.
Mom's unemployment check didn't come in yesterday because the company never asked for proof that she has been filling out applications left and right - mom knew they'd ask for it, but they never did, and now they're refusing to pay her, which means we're overdrawn and will still be until Wednesday. On top of that, we might not even scrape by after, as most of it is going towards bills. I'm not really sure if I should be mad at mom for not taking the initiative, the company for not saying anything, or myself for not calling Petsmart about my application(s) sooner. :/ There goes my trip to New York. And my lunch for the next week.

Lost a friend today, :\ someone I met while I was in school, she was always really nice to me and even though I'm shy and quiet would try and bring me into the conversation when she didn't have too. RIP.
