No Ponies for another few months too!
Edit: I went to bed early due to a storm last night after Ryan logged in a poor mood, thinking he just went to bed. Apparently not, and I was asleep when he needed me most. Great. I have to wait until he logs on now, because this is making me worried sick.

The most painful insults are the ones that have a perceived bit of sensitive truth wedged in. That in mind, it's normal to feel upset and sad when a friend accuses you of dumb crap but my god I am really fucking tired of being so in thrall to (internet) people that I end up not being able to concentrate on ANYTHING (except assembling patio furniture) all freakin' night. While we have enough patio furniture to choke a horse, I would still rather be working on my comic... or wow fanart... or being able to log onto wow and run failpugs on my hunter... or even portal/portal2. But no, I just wander around the house feeling bad and being really aggravated that the cat we've been feeding (that ran away from the previous owners) who is reputed to be super friendly and nice won't show his stupid fuzzy face when I could really use some non-judgemental animal companionship.

Not saying that you're doing anything wrong, but for a lot of jobs out there, just putting in the application isn't good enough, you have to do a follow up call a couple of days after the application to show the company that you're interested in the job.
I know I didn't finally get hired until I started calling the store I was interested in to keep checking on my application and for openings.

I spent two days working on a pony for someone, mostly took so long because I was distracted but I still got it done. I stayed up until One this morning to finish it. I dragged it over to MSN to show him it and I'm excited to see what he says.
"I like it. The mane is a little short though, can you make it longer?"
...Seriously? You say you like it and then say that. Of course I agreed, because I'm too nice. but I was almost in tears. I showed it to two other friends of mine and they said it looked Great. And now I'm doing it with the longer mane and..it looks Horrible! I don't even want to finish fixing it.
I'm about to burst into tears right now, I hate it.

I've gotten both extremes when it comes to drawing. Sone people are extremely passionate and expressive - others will just say "cool" and nothing more. For example, I drew one of my friends a picture of their character. From her I got "cute!". From someone random I got "Awww, that's adorable!".
And yeah, instant critiquing can be hard to deal with. Maybe I'm a little insecure, but getting only what's wrong pointed out isn't fun.
OT, mood swings. So bleh right now.

If I'm the one you're referring to, I should probably point out that I prefer to use as few words as possibly. A "Cute!" from me means "OMG THAT I SO WONDERFULLY CUTE I AM IN LOVE WITH IT THAT IS SO AMAZING".
Anyway. Spilled soda. Which has since dried up, and which I am too lazy to wash away. My socks are sticking to it when I walk around! D:

Dagh, I know how that feels. Been there, done that. And despite that, I'm getting myself into a situation where I'm starting to worry it might happen again...
.. Oddly, I haven't been ranting lately. TIME TO FIX THAT WITH A GIANT RANT
I'm getting absolutely SICK of stupid parents. Not mine, but my friends'. My best friend for almost 10 freakin' years has had her life turned upside down and turned into shit thanks to her idiot mom the last few years. It drives me crazy to see her so distraught over everything... And if that isn't enough, my OTHER best friend is also having problems.. Her dad REALLY wants their family to go on a MONTH-LONG trip to Europe this year. My friend REALLY DOES NOT WANT TO GO for that long though. And you know what makes it worse? They'd be there for Halloween, so say goodbye to any ideas of hanging out with friends that night! (And it even kills MY plans for Halloween this year...) I just don't get how her dad can ignore her like this and pretty much plan the trip like nothing's wrong. My friend is literally at her wit's end over this. IT'S JUST SO STUPID!!
Minor art blocks suck, by the way. Why can't I draw anything good?!?!?
That and the obvious comment about feeling like I'm losing touch with my online friends.. Or that I feel like I'm being ignored. *Sighs*
Wasn't as long as I thought, but oh well. *Skedaddles away*

Where in Europe is your friend going to?

Dunno, actually. I think they're planning on visiting several different places though.

In that case, if they'll be travelling around, a month is most likely on the smaller scale of time. Europe is an amazingly historical place, with beautiful, diverse landscapes and everything. Going there for any shorter time would be like visiting [Senna Hometown Here] for a day and claiming that you've seen everything in the US. It'd be inadequate, regardless of where you actually live.

It doesn't make it fair for my friend, though. She's distraught at the idea of being in a foreign place for that long! And that's what's bothering me! I couldn't care LESS if a month is how long it'd take for that, it's still not fair to my friend! And it's making her upset! That's why I'm upset over the whole thing too! Augh! *Flails*

Tell you what, if she ever comes to Sweden (which she should!) I'll buy her cake.
Then everything will be alright.
Ican understand feeling stressed out about it, really, it's just really not as bad as it may seem. Trust me, she's going to find it fun when she goes, and really, that's the important thing, It's always scary to try something new, but usually it turns out to be more awesome than you'd think! Besides, a whole month of vacation! That's to die for!

I mean its not like Halloween wont be there next year! It's just one night man compared to a trip that could be once in a life time!
Christchurch I feel for you 20 earthquakes in one day and one was a 6! Not as big as earlyer this year but still thats pretty big! I feel sorry for the poor people who have had their life ruined becouse of these quakes.

Just tell your friend avoid Germany as of now. >_>
Also, my throat is dry and scratchy for who knows why, and I'm exhausted, and I have finals again today. Whoo. Thank goodness I get out at 1:30 today as opposed to 3:15.

I solo'd Ursus the Bear God, then as soon as he died, he INSTANTLY spawned again and aggroed. Fine, it was easy to kill him last time, right? I'll kill him again. He's down to 50%... Oh great Thrall my healer NPC just despawned. Down to 15%.... Pet dies. Spam kill shot! Kill kill kill!
Woo! He's dead, and I have... about 4% health left. Heheheh, take THA- oh, crap, is that one tick left on a curse?
*dies*

I wish they'd just tell us whether or not we need to evacuate. They'd gotten the fire under control some, but now today is windy and they're getting worried again.):
