On a sadder note, one of the writers of the original anime series, Takeshi ShudÅ, recently passed away at the age of 61. He wrote several episodes, including the very first episode of the Pokemon anime. He also wrote the first three movies and the Mewtwo Returns special. =( He shall be missed.

I find it a bit inappropriate that the link was shortened to "asses_away". D:

Aside from the Mew event ending yesterday, there's no event related news to report as of now.
I've decided to start posting the pokemon of the week for those who'd like new ideas for thier teams.
This week's pokemon is Mismagius

for those of who who like pookemon creepy pasta, lost silver hidden just came out yesterday, if you're confused on what's it's about:
By saying 'No' after Turn back now, that was an absolute refusal to just give up and die. So he went back, trudged forward. His first pokemon even had an egg- eventually died. Celebi is the god of time. And over time, Gold was forgotten. Shiny Celebi are red- the opposite of green, the normal color. Gold's lack of time. So when you went back, and finally clicked yes and went through the end of life, for at least trying to exist, Gold got a name.

Right, so I'm doing another run through my Diamond game. At the moment I'm at Jubilife and my team consists of:
Hudson, level 11 male Piplup
Vira, level 10 female Misdreavus
Kieran, level 11 male Eevee
Truffles, level 10 male Shroomish.
I'm probably going to pick up a Gible at one point or another.

Quick update for me as well.
So, end up grabbing a houndour route 7...Zerak finally gives in and evolves. Easily destroy Erika, Sabrina, Brock (Who had a male kabutos. Sol and Zer happily destroyed Scarab.) as well as Janine and Misty, and Lt. Surge after struggle early on.
Sol is scary, her psybeam can almost one shot anything. If not, a pre set up Future Sight fixes that. Zerak has become my go-to pokemon for tight situations. Dark Pulse is wicked, and his Sp.Def means not much hurts him.
We easily catch Suicune and Snorlax. Just need Entei and Ho-oh now.
Team:
Solara the Espeon, 49.
Zerak the Umbreon, 48.
Dagger the Skarmory, 45.
Drakira the Gyardos, 43.
Shadow the Houndoom, 41.
Rycah the Manectric, 46.

Umbreon seems to be one of the best Pokemon to use as a 'main tank' as one might say. XD It's Special Defense is ridiculous my dear Moonlight is basically the tank of my team. I almost recalled my Espeon, but decided to keep him in the daycare for now. Good news is my Raichu is nearly level 100 with my Pidgeot hitting 81. My Floatzel needs level most of all since he's still stuck in the 60's. ><

Pretty much any time I'm not poking around here or other WoW related forums, I'm over at the Serebii.net forums, going by the same username.
I picked up an import copy of Black due to being mildly fluent in Japanese, and have been keeping myself busy with that whenever I'm not playing WoW.

Still waiting for my black copy in the mail. But have my white copy keeping me entertained...though I've come to a tough spot...Victory road, and my pokemon ar enot prepared.
My fisrt encounter with the steel ant pokemon left most of my team in the red, and that was right at the start. O.o, my next encounter while surfing was with a very fast green with blue stripe fish, that one-shot my Eaglet, and nearly ko'd my Kibagu's 1st stage...I think I need to lv up some. I'm also wishing I'd brought a fire pokemon up enough to take out those ants...maybe Victini will find a home in my party pretty soon again lol!!

I suddenly realised that I never updated about my HG team XD
So, I really went down to basics and tried to pick pokemon that I love. What I ended up with was:
Vhalar the Charizard
Saline the Crawdaunt
Turin the Torterra
Heqet the Toxicroak
Argent the Lugia
Zerda the Eevee (soon to be a jolteon)
It's a little unbalanced; I have a bit of an electircity weakness. But can work around that, and it's a team I'm gonna enjoy playing with. Besides, I have a few other pokemon in boxes that I can switch in and out as needed. Just in the process of leveling my new additions up.
Also still slowly playing though Diamond. Again, I mixed my team about a bit. (because I can apparently never be happy with just one team XD) I have at this moment:
Zane the Monferno
Mokole the Croconaw
Kapak the Gabite
Leif the Leafeon (I excel at creative names! XD )
Delta the Ghastly
And a HM slave, probably to be replaced with Dialga once I get up to him. :3
I think that's about it pokemans wise.

OHYEAH. The other I was going to recall to my team was Tauros. I have been told it's an excellent normal type to have on a team and I think I have one sitting in my PC... Not very high level though, might see if I could snag a higher one off the GTP.

I prefer starting with lower lv pokemon since then its easier to train them and teach them attacks.

YAY! My pokemon black came in the mail!!
Ha-ha! now to get duplicates of the starters so both versions have all of them ;3
of course with new games start stuff, its going to take a few hours...ahh the things we do for pokemon!
As for leveling up my white team, thats coming along nicely after getting a tip off Marriland. Walking back and forth outside the grass until a grass patch shakes and then run into it to fight a

Which yields around 1700-3000 exp, and is really easy to beat!
Lutra and petra are now lv 50, Gazer-in ll new fall colors, is 46, will be 50+ by days end, Scyth is 44, and is next after Gazer for leveling, and then Sano-the eglet, at lv 41, will be lv 50 before I go back into victory road...appearently theres a legendary waiting in there for me, Terrakion. So will be getting that one (already have the grass/fighting and steel/fighting ones)
Unfortunitly for me, my favourite of the __/fighting ones,

is a special event one, so can't get it in the game yet! I really like Kiren-like pokemon.
