I think a better excuse would be something like, her family/friend was killed, and she drinks to forget, or she just can't control it and drinks to feel better.

Agreed. Or something to the effect of not being accepted as a true druid or something (I believe it's a part of night elf lore that they didn't believe females could be druids or something like that, I might be wrong though.)

I think just drinking over dead family/friends is a bit too simple sorry sat. About it..it just seems WAY too overused with people characters, I dont know what you mean by the other suggestion though
Also I think every night elf druid in the rp so far has been female, Im not sure if we can fit that in
Maybe she can be slowly turning into a satyr? sorry if its copycating zarruks idea
like I say I just want to do something interresting

Which I dont even think I can go that far even though people have a warlock/mage/necromancer/death knight and a demon/dreanei and a person
you know what nevermind im just a whinebaby with this and im just stressing everyone over nothing
I hate myself so much sometimes

As you just pointed out yourself, we already have a few too many corrupted characters. Thing is, IRL, when people have a drinking problem, it isn't too unusual for it to be something like grief. Your suggestions are all a bit... cliché.

Right. next cliche idea I see get accepted for someone elses character though im quitting the rp
just because it seems like everyones allowed a 'unique' character execept me and im getting sick of this
and hell do I hate myself right now for saying this. im sorry but thats just how I feel

So...color changing raptor, troll raised by goblins, and a drunk moonkin aren't unique? I fail to understand. Just because they're not "OP" or "speshul" doesn't mean they're not unique. Unique isn't what abilities they have, or if they're Thrall's kids. It's little quirks.

Your characters are definitely unique, and the fact that you don't need or have something like the rest of us do makes them stand out. (Also, if you mean unique by having some weird class hybrid, or elemental power, or being a dragon, I'd like to point out Glix and Karzix as two perfectly normal characters.)

I'd also like to point out that the only "speshul" character I have is Indi, and I had a rather decent discussion about her in the TotH thread before I ever brought her in. Rose is a normal hunter, Sabra is a warlock, and Willowe is a druid.

It's the way/method a character is RPed with, not the traits someone gives them.

Okay your right.
my characters are like that but im serious aboiut the other comment I made there, If I see anymore curropt charrys I hink im going to quit why?
because im the most loser of a bitch this world has ever known as proved here that probably is beyond the 'average' for mental stability

I would like to see something interresting with aquela though without her being drunk at nightime I'm honestly going to put my 'Whiney-causes-everyone-trouble' thing to use
you can all hate me for it if you want

I didn't say you shouldn't go for it, I said that it was something I wouldn't go for.

A suggestion though: Make sure there's a proper reason for WHY. Have a little backstory ready for when you introduce it.

We have all of what? One actual corrupted character, and that's Zaruuk, and if you read the side story Moon's creating for him, there's obviously going to be a reason why. I "cleansed" Indi of her corruption by having her wipe herself clean and learn to master her control over her powers.

Decay and Rose are only "corrupted" because of third party forces.

To further clear that out, corrupting is what the cult does. There's a good reason for it.

Besides, Decay's going to try and get rid of her frost infusion as soon as she can.

And I don't intend to have Rose stay the way she is forever.

This. Definitely expect a good IC reason as to why Old Gods are whispering to Aquela.

And Ruby, I think that you may have been a bit unfair to yourself and the others. If you can have good reasons and not just, "Cause everyone else is doing it" or "it's cool" then go for it. But it looks to me like, "Huh. Everyone else is corrupt/dragon/weird class crossbreed, thereby I must have one too."

That actually was a huge thing that really, really annoyed me in the last PokeRP. I had one normal character and everyone was "SUPAH SPESHUL" with their hybrids or Deltas.

So, in the end, I think people should just relax and keep in mind when you have an idea, ask yourself if you have a good reason, not "is this cool?" Believe me, if I had done that, things would've been a lot different. xD

That's part of what drove me away too. About half the characters were crossbreeds by the time I left, and it increased after too.

Yeah. I mean, I'll admit I had one hybrid that I tried to RP and never bother. Beyond that, it was just Sol, who was Dusk mutated, but that was like the equivalent to Cult corruption-that was normal to the plot. Beyond that? Perfectly normal characters that just could not fit in.

<.< Yeah. I had no excuse. XD
Really, feel free to let me know if I'm going overboard with my crap. It's a little hard for me to judge at times. Being biased and all that.

Hope you're better soon Lupis. <3

I hate to do this, but I'm going to be a bit of a bad guy here. I agree with Azu, wanting to try and "corrupt" your character just because you're under the impression that everyone else is doing it is wrong.

If you're that desperate to corrupt Aquela then I suggest going and reading up about Staghelm. And in the meantime, work on cleaning up your writing skills. I apologize if English isn't your first language, but I have a hell of a time trying to read any of your posts between the bad grammar and mispellings. If you need some help, please ask any of us here. Most of us here have a good grasp on these things and we're more than willing to help. :)

Also, you need to think about the consequences of corrupting a druid. Do you know anything of the druid lore? Of how rejected and even attacked she would be? I can tell you that if Willowe ever found out, she would either leave the group or try to kill Aquela.

I think, instead of worrying about whether your characters are "speshul" enough, you need to focus on what characters you do have and improving your writing skills because I personally don't feel you could handle a character that's facing serious corruption. There's nothing wrong with a regular everyday character (Glix and Karzix, for example) and amping them up, expanding upon them, giving them some personality and character development.

I've been nice and tried to sit back idly, but I have little respect for those that can do nothing about whine and want to be a special snowflake. I'm sure people will be angry at me for saying this, and I apologize, but it needed to be said.

Okay so I decided to not go crazy with aquela, or maybe just abit

Anyways so Aquela in a battle couldn't save her firends blah blah blah, other friends who like this friend the most blamed Aquela for not being ablr to save her blah blah blah guy was well known blah blah blah she is now trumatized because plently of people in darnassuess know about this, they may feel sorry for her or hate her whatever the feelings she mistaken it for them all hating her blah blah blah this started drinking habits to return to her old self, she eventuly started to hang out with other races, therefor seeming a little less druidish and more of a party person, though she traveled around just in case any word about the 'incident' passed around, she also needs to drink to stay calm because of this, before she reached other lands with other alliance races, she ended up createing another voice in her head for her own comfort, she eventuly got so used to this that she didn't need to think the voices actions up anymore (I had this happen in my past, I dont think its anything too mary sue, just maybe personal probelms, not another entity or anything)
