((The Continuation.))
Molly, Arachne and I went on up to the Northridge Lumber Mill. We were told we had to scare some spiders. I had to borrow their horse, because Molly was scared of them.
Once we scared the spiders, Arachne and I had to kill some rabid foxes. Thankfully, they looked nothing like Shadwyn. We killed our foxes and then were told to kill a bunch of gnolls. Ugh. Gnolls. I never wanted to see the things again. We also had to steal their weapons and steal back the wood they stole.
Mr. Dumah was frustrated when the spiders didn't flee, so he told me it meant WAR. (Wild Arachnid Roundup.) He put me on another horse, and we herded the spiders to the mill. I scared them over to the troops, who slaughtered the spiders. Left the little things a message! Arachne was freaked out by the horses, so she had hid and didn't see the massive spider massacre. I'm glad.
Mr. Dumah told me this man named Fordring wanted to see me, so I went down to Hearthglen. Before that, though, I was ordered to help some trainees train. We kind of crushed their ego. Tore them to bits without much second thought. They seemed extremely heartbroken when I took them out. Then again, I probably have more combat experience. Have they ever faced an onslaught of murlocs? Or battled a black dragon? Took down two different Lichs? I don't think so.
Apparently, Mr. Fordring was a -very- powerful man. After paying him my respects, I had to kill a really big spider. Turns out the men weren't too disturbed that I was killing a spider with my own spider, since they thanked me quite profusively when I finished. Okay then.
Next up, we had to kill gnolls. Molly, Arachne and I went on our way down there. There seemed to be some conflict, and it looked like nasty results for both fighters there.
We found a few more gnolls we had to kill, and oddly enough, they had necromatic capabilties! It was really strange, and the night elf who sent me down there told me there were some stolen supplies. So I went to ask some questions, and one name came up several times. Bisp. So I went with Arachne to ask him a few questions.
Apparently, he was guilty, because he started attacking! Defending ourselves, we killed Bisp. Unfortunately, that's not a good thing to do. Go figure. So Arachne and I did what we could, returning to Mr. Fordring to tell him what we did. He was aware of what I did, and he sounded really, really mad. And then he congratulated me for killing the traitor! He scared me! Arachne was ready to sink her fangs into him and kill him before he killed us!
He asked us to return to Mender's Stead to speak with them, so I asked for a hippogryph and we flew down. (I prefer a wyvern over a hippogryph, and a gryphon over a wyvern.) We were told to collect certain objects for Mr. Gahrron, as well as bring back a sample of its cauldron.
He seemed very sad to see the things, and I felt bad for him. I knew what it was like to lose people you loved. Seventeen. Sparky. All gone. Never coming back. Nevertheless, we had to other business to take care of, and Cultists to deal with.
Zen'kiki came too, but he kept getting lost. ((Too slow! Lost him three or four times.)) We finally made it, and killed the Cultist Leader Lady. Once she was dead, we found out we had more to kill, so we decided to go do that. We also freed bears and allowed Zen'kiki to heal them. There were huge ooze things to kill too, and they oozed all over. Ew! I was quite glad to be quick to kill them.
And then there were these things, they were huge! And scary!
We killed what we needed to kill, and then went returned to the Stead. Finally, we returned to Andorhal to finish what we started. The Forsaken were coming.
((Next post, and hopefully, last.))
