Pads seem to be quite popular here, but I have to hit my puck into the other net. I've preferred tampons ever since I started having sex, and tampons were no longer painful to insert now that that pesky hymen's out of the way. IMO, they make it easier to keep clean during my period, as I'm not getting blood all over the outside parts of myself, and they're just more confortable. Pads feel like diapers for me. The only time I'll wear them now is while sleeping, if I'm bleeding really heavily and a tampon just won't cut it.
As for oral, I hate to admit it, but my boyfriend's way better at giving me oral than I am at returning the favour. I haven't been able to make him cum solely through oral the whole time we've been together (11 years), not for a lack of trying. I don't know why, I just can't seem to get the technique right.

I love tampons. Pads make me feel like I'm peeing my pants for some reason, lol.
It took me a while to be able to get the oral thing down. I have to admit, I cheat a bit and am able to use my hands at the same time and it helps a lot!

If I don't use my hands, it seems to take forever.

I am not a company shill, but I have been really impressed with the new Always Infiniti pads. They are incredibly thin and absorb incredible amounts of liquid.

Astronauts use the same materials to stop leaks in space-things. ^^ It's not developed strictly for one usage, absorbant materials have lots of usages.

Do you have a little handheld mirror? I'm not sure if you'd be able to see far enough in even with it, but I've got a little compact-sized one that I will occasionally use to look around and see what's going on down there (since as far as I know it's all cobwebs and fright masks!). I'm not very bendy at all but I can usually see a fair amount.
A flashlight (or good lighting in the room you're in) might also help, lol

I hope your ulcer gets better soon Cow.

Also, I suppose as an alternative to the mirror idea, you could use a camera or camera phone and good lighting to attempt to do the same thing. >_>
