Ghost raised an eyebrow at Ciro, "And you'd be right on that." She looked back over at Lyra, and sighed, "I know you want to go find him.. And I want to too, but I'm not risking you getting sick either! I can find him myself, anyways..." She turned towards the door, then looked back, "Don't you DARE try and follow me, okay? I'll rip your tail off if you do." And with that, she opened the door and raced away.
Rust squeaked quietly as he watched his mother leave. Glancing over at Lyra, he then scampered over to her. "Lyra? I.. I'm not letting my Mommy go by herself. I want to save Uncle Soundwave too... And I think we might be able to stay out of Mommy's sight if we're careful.." He trailed off, then put on a determined expression. "We have to go and help her save him!"

Lyra nodded, "Yeah. We can't let her just go alone, we're tough and brave and stuff!" She said, getting up on her paws. "We can save 'em both! And they'll be so happy they won't be mad we followed."

A tranquill flitted through the air, eyes on the ground. It flew with a sense of urgency and determination, though its expression was nervous.
How could she ever be expected to find a cure? Even with her sister's help, it was nigh impossible. They knew nothing about the sickness. Besides, what said anyone else knew of it? They had no leads!
A lone home caught her attention and she circled before landing in a tree a half mile away, tilting her head at it. "First house I've seen in miles. Should we ask there?"

Ciro glanced at his parents before he moved over to the other two kids and looked at them. "I'm going with you guys." He said seriously as he nodded at them. "I'm not about to just sit around and do nothing while people go after my Dad."

The druddigon scowled as it struggled to stay aloft, sticking to gliding. It ungracefully landed on the ground near the tranquill, looking up at her. "Yeah, it sounds like a good idea." She replied, shuffling her wings. "And we'll get a chance to rest, we've been flying for a while and this form is somewhat ill-suited for it."
---
Lyra nodded in reply, "We should go then. And let's make a promise: No matter what happens, even if one of us get sick or hurt, we stick together, okay? No one gets left behind."

Rust nodded, "Yeah! No matter what! We'll stick together!" He grinned at Lyra and Ciro, "Now.. Let's go!" He turned and took off through the still wide open door.
------
Ghost slowed to a trot after racing a few miles from the house. Her fur still bristled, and she found herself on the verge of panic. She wasn't about to lose another member of her family!! Ignoring her already aching paws, she leapt into a run again.

The tranquill scowled, batting at the Druddigon playfully with a comparatively tiny wing. "Silly Kiara, choosing a giant, bumbling dragon. All right, we can walk there. Or you can." The bird managed to convey a smirk despite not anatomically being able to physically do so, then flapped up to sit on the dragon's head.

Ciro glanced back at his parents and his tail twitched before he cloesd his eyes. They opened after a moment and he took off after Rust, staying in his usual form for now. His parents would understand right? He was going to help out his family! They wouldn't get mad for that, he was doing the right thing.
(( And with that I'm going to bed. Night all ))

Kiara stuck out her tongue, but nonetheless allowed her sister to perch on her head, making her way to the house.
---
Lyra followed after Rust, looking back at the adults and grinning to herself. Ha, they wouldn't even -miss- them.
((Oh, right. Sleep. Busy day tomorrow. Should probably do that.))

"Promise!" Pim squeeked happily.
"No, it aint!" Baxter growled, despite knowing that this was a loosing battle. " 'Cus we ain't goin' or helpin'!"
"Scared!" Pim turned to tease the scraggy.
"What? No! I aint scared of no dumb virus! I just don't wan' you to catch it, you fuzzball."
"Scaaaaaaaaared."
"BAH! Fine." Baxter sulked. "We'll go help deal with this stupid virus. And it won't be my fault when you turn orange and cyan and die."
"Help!" Pim sung, hugging Cario for a few seconds more before climbing back down to attach herself to Baxter's back.

"Yeah, well it only takes one of 'em to do ya off." Baxter grumbled, folding his arms sulkily. "Now, if we's gonna have ta fight, I ain't doin it on an empty stomach. Least yous can do, since I'm helpin yas and all."
He wandered back into the kitchen and started to pull together something to eat.
"Stealing." Pim reminded the scraggy.
" 'ere, have a berry." Baxter said, handing an oran berry to the little bat.
"Berry!" Pim grabbed it with her wings and sat on the ground, happily nibbling on it.

Lyra crept along the ground, quietly following the umbreon and keeping a good distance away. She scowled, wishing she had more time to develop her psychic powers, that she was just a bit older and they were a bit stronger. Then she could trail her by senses! Swallowing her huff of frustration, she continued stalking besides Rust and Ciro.
---
Kiara looked at the house as it emerged through the trees. It looked occupied, if you ignored the fact a roof had caved in. "What do you think?" She asked Jay, "Safe or not?"

"Looks like the race has been wrapped up, folks! Only one more lap to go and the champion looks like he has this all wrapped up, and - oh! Oh, what's this? Coming up from behind, recovering after a horrible crash that would have killed both man and rider, it's... it's Orange Wonder! Orange Wonder passes Flames of Steel, coming up behind War Admiral, OH and he passes War Admiral! I don't believe it, ladies and gentlemen, this could be the race of the century!"
"Foster."
"Passing Black Gold, making the turn, ohhh, he almost loses it! He's back in, putting on a burst of speed! Only the champion remains to be passed, and there's less than a third of the track left, ladies and gentlemen, I don't believe this!"
"Foster."
"And, and...! Orange Wonder passes the champion, five feet to go on the racetrack! Ladies and gentlemen, this is a photo finish if I've ever seen one! Imagine how much grueling training mount and jockey must have gone through! Throw those flowers and confetti! Numbers and kisses are acceptable substitutions, ladies!" The Sableye stood up on the Floatzel's back, making a hissing sound that resembled a cheering crowd as he waved his claws in the air. He let out a squawk as his side twisted to the side, making him tumble to the ground. He grumbled as he sat up, rubbing the back of his head. "What's wrong with you, 'Orange Wonder'?"
"Foster, we've been walking for... how long have we been walking?" Julius sat down, curling his tails around his paws.
"Long enough to make me bored out of my skull. Think there's any caves around? I could use a bite to eat."
"We've been walking a long time. I've been walking a long time, I mean. You've just hitched rides on my back."
"You really expect me to keep up with you with these stubby things?" Foster held up a leg and wiggled his clawed toes.
"Look, Foster, please take this seriously. I haven't seen my family in months and I'm worried sick about them. Who knows what could have happened when I was gone? I want to find them as soon as possible." Julius stood up, turning around and resuming his determined march. Foster sighed wearily, running up alongside him and pulling himself up onto the Floatzel's back.

Jay peered at the house, listening quietly. It sounded quiet enough. "...Safe, I think," she replied, nodding her beak. She fluffed out her feathers and hopped over to a different spike on her sister's head.

Chomp looked at Delora, "Should we head for Pinsir's now?"

A large dinosaur with a blue domed head popped out of the foliage in Ghost's path.

Ciro was Trying to sneak along. While Rust could fade and Lyra was coloured properly to blend in...he was Bright Orange. He failed sneaking.
