Can confirm that the tallstrider i have tamed a couple of hours ago has lost his enraged effect after death, testing the raptor now.

I'm down here futzing around, and the seeds till make them go boom and they're still tameable (the mobs, I don't have anyone with me to try the actual process with).

But I don't know if the restarts have rolled around. 10 PDT really is an odd time for them do do it, right when a lot of people are playing. Especially when they PLAN to do it at a common time instead of say, 5 a.m.

My server hasn't restarted yet.

Just helped a friend tame one at 10:03 PDT - and then the server restart sign came on. Wish you luck, everyone.

I can almost get it.
The raptor dies as the tame goes off but I just tame a dead raptor.

Anyone got any tips?

reset may have made them untamable

I got it. 30 seconds before the server restart showed up.

Are you hitting Revive Pet as it completes?

UPDATE

My friend says the Steamwheedle Cartel server has already gone down - and my pet's still flaming! In addition, the mobs still explode with the seeds, but I don't have room to try taming the raptors or striders, though BL says they're tameable - but so does Garwal, so I don't know.

server has reset, and my little Campfire is still at my side.

Managed to get it on two of my hunters before the restart.

it could be that the raptors are still tamable, but you can't tame them as flames anymore

My server just got reset, and is back up now, I can confirm that I still have my fire patch.

Can we get a confirm on whether or not they're tameable AFTER the reset?

Just helped my friend tamed one! Fire and all. So bliz hasn't fixed it yet or their attempt to failed.
