Yeah, had they all shown up on time, things would have been better. Considering how few attempts there were, we did really well. It was just....people being mentally/physically checked out.

I can translate as necessary. I'm just reluctant to lead on a fight that I don't know like the back of my hand (like every single other fight in the instance).

Would you want me to put out there a raid planned for maybe July 6th or 7th?

That'd be the last time for a while that I'd definitely be able to talk on vent. Things will be crazy here for a while after that.

The LK heroics also give you about 23 JP a boss as well (cant remember exactly, and there is a 10% guild buff to JP that you can get too)

As an option if you hit your max of 7 random cata dungeons.

Sounds good - please add linky when you have it for 7/7; I can only speak for myself but after the last run, it's been impressed on me that raids run by people you know are better than the alternative, by an order of magnitude.

I wasn't earning any extra JP from bosses except final bosses, even in random cata's. Idk why, as I thought all bosses were supposed to, but it's not happening.

Not at all. If I was, I wouldn't be earning the random dungeon bonuses. Nor would I have had a problem getting geared for last saturday. I earn JP on my hunter for random reg bosses, but not my lvl 80 DK.

And you're definitely queuing for randoms, rather than specific dungeons? :/ Weird.

Yes, I found it weird too, but I couldn't find a reason either.

Well update, I was able to get into a group last night for Herald (they were missing a healer) and we were able to get it done.

Couple things : mechanics is much more important to this fight than actual dps, learning how to avoid collapsing stars / running into black holes is a huge liability and even as a healer there is no way to save someone from standing in bad stuff

DPS needs to be probably around 5-6k average amongst the whole group, we 2 healed it with me as a specd out shaman on the raid, and the well geared pally on the tanks. 2 dps were at about 10k each and 3 others were 6-9k, it helped alot.

We blew Heroism right at the start, by the time he was at the first big bang I think Algalon was at 50%

I think I'm going to be leveling up a hunter for this as well, was quite fun

I'd like to run Ulduar another time or two myself (mainly I want tier 8 shoulders and a new trinket) to help maximize my gear (other's gear).

I might have to either bail or gear a different toon for this if my fps stays this bad, cause it certainly makes tanking impossible.

Don't have the gear/knowledge.

My fps is just being awful everywhere, though, so the issue goes beyond WoW.

Sadface Good thing is that it doesn't take long to gear up a 80, however it could take long to level up a 80.

You have a hunter or another dps around there? I still think we could do it on Bryndis maybe once your FPS gets a bit better

I have other 80s. It's just a question of getting gear that's the right ilevel. I have my mage and warlock, both of which are smarter choices. Even as a dps in melee, I'd be a liability lagging into circles.
