Is it me, or does the name Ji-Kun sound a bit like "chicken"?

Maybe the person "becomes" the claw ala sand drake.

With that icon that is just 100% accurate, I would eat my slipper if it wasn't that model.

( It has been around since Cataclysm)

I do hope that isn't the model, I don't see that generating a lot of interest, which will hurt engineering profits.... I'd stick with the older rocket mounts, I never need to carry anyone anyway.

As for mounts - am I the only one that dislikes the choice for Alliance direhorn faction mount?
Why "golden" (which actually is more of an orange/brown)? Horde gets a nice red, the colour of their faction. Why can't we ride a blue-and-gold one? Especially since the new blue skin for direhorn just screams "Alliance"?

this seems like a very valid observation to me, the blue fits Alliance way better than the Golden.

I also thought Alliance got shafted on the !@#$ brown kite y'all got.

I like the kite Alliance got... but saying that, I didn't know there was a different coloured one for Horde until someone pointed it out on Wowhead. If it had had more blue I would've expected it but as it seemed grey and neutral I thought nothing of it. So imagine my surprise when I saw their bright red one, I thought it was a profession one or a bugged flight path when I had seen them before and there's really not a lot of Horde on my server so it was a rare occurrence to see any faction specific mounts.

So now we get another not very "Alliance" coloured mount. Gold makes no sense so the blue one must have some sort of special purpose... it better had because this is a bit rubbish really. Gold/orange/brown or whatever is pretty unexciting.

I think I just realized why Alliance doesn't get blue Direhorn mount.

1)We have Direhorn boss in new raid, Horridon.
2)His color under all that armor is blue.
3)He can drop mount called "Spawn of Horridon".
4)...
5)*light bulb*

Yup, and that's the mount only raiding allies will be able to get, in contraty to all hordies who'll just have to do a rep chain. I still think alliance deserves better than another poop-coloured mount.
