Sorry for the double post but...

I also saw Pacific Rim the other day which was lulzy and kinda boring and omg sooooooo many continuity errors. However I've recently been to the cinema to see the Desolation of Smaug (for the second time) and Frozen, both of which are amazing and so full of charm. I wasn't fond of Frozen at first but I've warmed to it. (: Especially after realising how charming yet different it was from other Disney films, it really stood out. Also the soundtrack. <3
Ugh Twilight...Pacific Rim to me was all action and nothing else which isn't my type of movie (I was even dedicated enough to see it at the premier...what a disappointment...)
I thought Frozen was good the first time I saw it, but I came to love the second time I saw it

The soundtrack really is amazing.

just to be clear: none of what you list is a "plot hole".
a plot hole is an inconsistency or logical error within the story.
for example, the hero having an all-powerful item in his pocket, but when finally confronted with a situation where that item could be useful, it is completely left out of the narrative.
or a character being mortally wounded in part of the story, but then, without explanation, they are fine at the conclusion of the story.
I'm not disagreeing with the things you disliked about the film. I haven't seen it yet, but would possibly agree with a few of your points.
but the expression "plot hole" is used indiscriminately by far too many people to simply describe something they didn't like in a story. That's not the definition of "plot hole".

Ahahah, I just watched it this night and I was about to post the exact same kinds of things!
I dunno. I enjoyed Frozen, but it was... just enjoyable, for me. So many things drove me completely crazy that I can't say I loved it. All of those things you stated (plus a few more- WOW were a lot of things forced in Frozen, they could have done a little better with making some reactions/changes believable) bugged me to the point where I thought it was just kind of fun but... beyond that, meh.
But then, I'm unreasonably picky. >.>
Edit- posted my musings on Tumblr, though Niabi, you covered a few that I didn't!

Gah, Lupis, you brought up some good points too. xD Damn it! Now I won't be able to see through these things. Glad I'm not the only one who disliked Olaf though. I thought his song was kinda cute, but he felt like a forced comedic character to me. Also, as much as I liked Sven, did he *have* to act like a dog..?
I dunno. I'm so torn. It was such a charming film but so much stuff felt left out and ignored. It was far from the best Disney film I've seen (and I think I still prefer Tangled, since everyone and their mum is apparently comparing the two now?) but it was charming and beautiful enough that I'll be getting the DVD when it's out. (Maybe the Blu-Ray. But I don't have anything that can play Blu-Ray yet. >___<)
And for Hunger Games fans/people who've watched Frozen...

I guess I'm the only one that completely loved and was enamored by Frozen. It's right up there with Brave, Tangled, and Princess and the Frog, all of which I super loved. I love Disney movies though and tend to not critique them too much like adult movies because they're for children and I know that some questions that might spring to my mind, wont likely occur to a child. Then again I loved the music and that likely influenced my love for it as I love like.. all Disney songs and frequently hum them or sing them when I'm bored.
Desolation of Smaug(omg my babeh smaug <3) was the last movie I actually saw... Multiple times but hey. I really really really cant wait for the new Godzilla movies because.. I own like every movie s/he was ever in, old and newer. My friends wanting me to read the Divergent books with her so I can see the movie when it comes out but I'm dragging my feet because it doesn't sound that good to me. I still want to see The Secret Life of Walter Mitty because I remember reading the short story it was based off of.

Zarai the entire internet is enamored by Frozen in case you hadn't noticed haha. I did love it myself and probably wouldn't have questioned or been so judgmental of it if the trailers actually gave it any justice. Whoever made the trailers for Frozen failed to capture it completely, placed all the 'funny' bits in there and they didn't seem to reflect the beauty and charm that the film actually had. So the trailers put me right off and I avoided going to see it for a week until some friends of mine told me how much they loved it and I gave in.
Even though it did rub off well with me I still prefer Wreck-It Ralph (My favourite <3) and Tangled. Not many people here seem to talk about Wreck-It Ralph... Personally I thought it was Disney's absolute best since Lilo and Stitch. Yep. And Lilo and Stitch *was* their best. Excluding the original classics, of course. Of which my favourites were the Aristocats and Lady and the Tramp and... God, I could go on about Disney FOREVER.
Last night I was at a friend's house and we decided to watch a crappy horror film and found 'Simon Says'.... Oh. My God. ROFL. That... I have no words.
P.S. Yes I'm British I use the word 'film' not 'movie' hurrdurr~

I did not find Frozen to be that good but I don't out right find it terrible like I did with Brave.

Wow. Really? Any reason for that? You're the first person I've heard of to have disliked Brave. Personally I thought it was brilliant *and* funny.

Have to say I'm not overly fond of the soundtrack though. It fits the film fine, but bagpipes to me sound like screaming/dying children. So there's that.

Lots of reasons. The story was not that good. Hell the original title of "the bear and the bow" fitted it more then Brave did. The main character was not someone I could get behind. I can't stand those kinds of Disney characters the "I don't want to do what I'm told, I deserve more even though I'm a fucking princess! My life sucks!". It never felt like she learned anything from what she did. The character designs where not all that great.
I could on on about how it was a stupid ass movie but I wont because I'd rather forget it :3
I saw Despicable me the other day and enjoyed that. Which was a surprise because I went in thinking I was going to hate it

I'm with Cow in not liking Brave! I mean, I loved the soundtrack. I loved the characters. But the plot was paced really oddly and a lot of things felt very rushed and incomplete. There wasn't really a big story arch, I felt, just things happening after other things, vaguely related but not enough for it to be exciting. I found I only really liked the animation and the soundtrack. Merida was pretty cool too and I liked her, but she seemed forced too to me.
...Also the three little bears pissed me off. But if you can't tell, the comic relief characters always piss me off. >.>
Though I think it suffered from the opposite problem Frozen had, the trailers/commercial built it up hugely to the point where I expected an epic, long, awesome adventure and it couldn't live up to that.

I agree with you there about the comic relief characters Lupis. I can't stand them. 99% of the time they feel unnecessary and boring. I'm completely indecisive about Sven the reindeer though. He acts like a dog and that's weird to me, I don't know why all animals have to act like dogs apparently, but he's kinda cute and my friend recently bought a plush of him and it's adorable. ;-; Idk if I like him or not. Olaf can go die melt for all I care though, such a distracting character.
I think with Brave the only thing I could complain about is it seems to take forever to get the point across. It was basically the end of the film when the main story began. So, yeah, the pacing was awkward and it would've been much better if done properly, but otherwise I loved it.
I'll throw another one out there for discussion if people like. Has anyone seen the Croods? Not many people I know liked it, but I enjoyed it. Again, though, mostly for the characters and art style. It's one of those films I really wish I had the art book for, I loved the crazy creature designs.

Sven was pretty cute, though yeah, the dog thing made me groan. Maximus was bad enough in Tangled- and I loved Maximus. But oh god, did they have to make the warhorse into a dog? He's a horse! They have plenty of personality! And it shows a heck of a lot more creativity when they're not all strangely shaped dogs. x.x I'd kill for a Sven plush though because fuzzy reindeer plush yes please.

Dog personality = Easy to animate
Horse = Hard.
:/
I think Brave would of been way better if the first director was not changed. She'd of been Pixar’s first female director of a feature-length film too XD

Im with alot of ppl on Brave, I wasn't impressed either. It was ok but thats about it. I saw it on a plane too so didnt waste any money or anything but then I didnt have high expectations for it either, it was just something that passed the time in my eyes. The bears were really annoying and the whole "moral" (if there was one) was lost on me. Its a shame...the horse in it was cool
Tangled and Reck-It Ralph I found 100x better...I also loved Megamind!
My fav "old style" Disney film's are The Jungle Book and Bambi. The Bambi sequel was also really good (as far as dvd sequals go). I have a VHS tape of "The Rescuers Down Under" I think I watched over and over, its probably not that good now but when I was little I just loved it to bits for some reason.

I liked Brave a lot, I guess my Irish roots did me in for that one. Ah well, to each their own. I found it fantastic.(although my supreme love for bears helps)

I guess the only thing I did like was that everyone had Scottish accents. I had a fear that they where going to screw that up like so many other things do.
Like 90% of the "Kiwi" accents you see on American made shows are Aussie ones

I uh yeah XD

I do giggle at the ones that you can tell the actor is not even trying and it turns out to be like some sort of English/Aussie/Kiwi one

You think that's bad? How about when people try and imitate us Brits? They either make us all out to be ridiculously posh... or chavvy. Also omg I was looking up some Brave memes and stuff and the amount of people who think that Brave is either IRISH OR WELSH... Irish, Welsh, Scottish and British are all completely different things, guys. x____x Interwebs...
Oh and the amount of times no one can tell the difference between Aussie and British baffles me. They sound nothing the same. o.O
Castile, omg, I used to LOVE Rescuers Down Under! I actually waaaaaaay prefer it to the first one. And Bambi 2 was a decent sequel but really short, wasn't it only like an hour long? Most Disney sequels make me want to tear my eyeballs out. Makes me so very glad that the Aristocats never got one. It NEARLY did, but production was cancelled. THANK GOD. The original Bambi was also a favourite of mine.
