I'm really liking that horse mount, except for one tiny thing. I feel like its head is slightly too big? But that's likely just the angle; I'm sure it's going to be absolutely beautiful.(:

I think it might be the angle. I think the base is the same as that blue "steel warhorse" I linked earlier, but with more spikes and things. So the head should hopefully be fine. The only thing that may make the head appear bigger is that it seems to have much bigger spikes than the blue one.

New Talbuk model mounts PLEASE! They are so gorgeous. I loved the old ones, even though these lost some of the beautiful coloration the old ones have, I absolutely LOVE the design of them. I hope Alliance gets an easily obtained new wolf mount.
Note: I'm not currently playing. I stopped back in February I think.

Those new Talbuk models really ARE gorgeous! I'd like to add my wish to the long list of those wanting them as mounts!

BTW, I've confirmed that there are five boar mount colours, one corresponding to every wild colour, but with straps. There are also two mount models: with or without armour (the latter just has a saddle).
Unfortunately I can't get shots of all these until I work out the trick of making WMV display multiple skins on the one model. Currently it just wants to display the body skin, leaving the saddle and armour blank :/ I've been trying to find out the trick to this for years now, but can't find any promising info. Anyone have any clues?

I love the unarmored boars too but I'm still iffy about them using the direhorn skeleton. Not that I don't like them, just that I would've preferred them to .. Not use it. Especially considering the riverbeast uses the model too. Would've been nice for the boar to have its own set of animations, or the old boars animations. But oh well.

They may yet, it's still early. They kinda look ok with the direhorn special and kind of weird. Because they have this tiny tail that doesn't touch the ground yet are still moving as though they're pounding some huge tail on the ground.

Agreed, it seems a bit redundant to have two of the new beasts use the same skeleton. I'm still holding out a slim hope that it's just a placeholder. *crosses fingers*

Updated the image of the "dark" riverbeast on WCM. I found another saddle/canopy colour that I'd missed and it seems to fit that one very nicely.

Clefthoofs huh? I tend to shy away from the big bulky mounts but this one looks kind of interesting. for some reason I really like that silly, tiny saddle on top of that massive beast.

dang you beat me to it. I had my suspicions it could fly but I am still kind of surprised. reminds me of a bumblebee. Wings so tiny you wouldn't think it could make it off the ground. I really, really like it. I love the non-skull version. you can really see the origins of the ravager in its face. I guess bc ravagers got the short end of the stick when it came to mutations. I am really excited to tame this one.
