So the word on the tweet is, Val has done it again!?!

Oh! It looks like the red (Voroudnir) and the green (Mavarnir) are next to the blue! In two separate caves. Due to server instability and rubberbanding, I didn't notice them earlier

Well... that's boring lol. Was hoping they'd be spread out in more interesting areas. Thought one would be in stormheim for example.

Agreed. Rather odd that they aren't.

My apologies if this has been said, but I've looked through pages and haven't seen a clear answer...
What am I going to have to do before I get this quest? Am I going to have to have all my weapons at max iLvL? I understand that I have to have all the quests done for the Hunter Lodge? Which means dozens of normal raids, which means waiting and hoping specific raids pop up on the pre-made groups tab because, surprise surprise, you can't finish those quest lines in LFR and my guild continues to recruit people unwilling to do raiding. For instance, Essence of Power is a Raid based quest that requires Normal. Then hoping Corrupted Essences drop. And I'll bet, since the quest giver has sent me on at least 5 separate NORMAL raid quests there's far more after that..... And I have to HOPE that, since all normal raids start at the beginning, they don't crap out in the middle or at the very end.
And am I understanding this right, they're adding MORE traits to the Artifact Weapons to move the goal posts further away?
I'm just looking for a linear path regarding what I'm going to need to do to get to tame these beasts. I honestly don't care about a mount. I just would love the pets.

my understanding is that you just have to unlock all the traits on your weapon and have completed the Hunter hall campaign. after that you can buy the tome and learn to tame feathermanes.

I'm curious about the Artifact Trait requirement after the next Xpac, but thats a topic for a different thread.

Pretty much what Zangor said. You have to fill all of the traits on the Beast Mastery artifact - both the current and 7.2 ones - and complete the campaign.

It's not any artifact, BM only absolutely 100% confirmed?

I'm pretty sure Feathermanes are considered exotic?

Feathermanes aren't exotic but they are gating the Tome behind unlocking all of Titanstrike's traits (just need 1 point in the Infinite trait)

That doesn't make sense, and nowhere does it say they are Exotic. If anything this will be like the Direhorns where once you read the tome you can pull the pet out in any spec. Also
