Here is my list for my night elf hunter. The top five are the pets she already has.

Don't know what I want for last five... could keep em open for any new pets in future patches.

Will do my moo cow later :3

This is my set up so far. Nothing is final because I'm very much a "play by feeling" type of person when it comes to pets. Plus there are a number of rares so it will take me awhile. Top 5 is my current stables. Ones without names... well... I haven't thought of a name yet. Only Retames are Ashes and Twilight.



There will be some cata pets, like Jadefang will probably make his way in there, but my model viewer doesn't have them yet.

Later, I'll do my orc, which is a bit of a challenge since she's a vanilla account, so no exotics, no outlands/northrend.

OK so I'm using a Mac and somehow it never occurred to me that I didn't have MSPaint. >.< Some random program called "SeaShore" and my leet computer skills allowed me to at least put some pictures together.

Anywho, finally got Spinne's stables "full" with the addition of Nuramoc and figured I'd post 'em up here just 'cause I think they're pretty! (Yes, most of them match my Sporeggar tabard. I'm THAT proud of it. There is, however, only one color Core Hound in my brain. =D)


A couple words about names, just because:
"Chesterliver" was named after one of my MC raiding guild's main tanks, and is the pet I leveled 10-80 with.
"Meatsack" was named after a hellfire-loving warlock friend from the same guild.
"ZombieWoof" was my pre-patch raiding buddy.
"Zoltan" got her (his now?) name because all I could think of when I heard her sqwaking after mobs was "the more ya eat, the more ya toot! SQWAK!"
"Jäger" is Spinne's primary PvP pet. It means "hunter" while Spinne actually means "spider." Get it? *sigh* it was amusing at the char creation screen ...
Last but not least ... I raided MC/BWL with a TERRIBLE internet connection, and picked up a minipet for my druid so I'd know when I was DCing (my little moth would not be next to me anymore!) Missed having that little moth running around with me, and so picked up "LagMoth!"

EDIT: Wish there was a stable blue worm skin. I just can't get attached to the jormungar but the gray worm bugs me ;/ What's a hunter to do!?

You've got an empty stable slot--have you tried the 'green' worm skin in maraudon? Pictures don't do it justice, you just have to tame it and bring it out in the sunshine to appreciate the blue/green beauty of it.

The new stableslots enabled me to pick up some pets I had to get rid off earlier to make room for raiding ones. So I got my beloved wind serpent back and my previous Bm pets I had while leveling

Wen Cata comes I'm defintly going for all types of foxes. That is my prio number 1 and just for my own pleasure. All friends with beta keys have been abused by me to find the foxes...
Then I suppose I gonna look into what I can contribute to raid etc. But one thing for sure.. I will never ever get an ape, gorilla or boar. Sorry just can't have a pet I don't like.

First, flickr is a pain now. I need a new image hosting place.

Second, Blizz is giving us so many pets now, that we will have to make some hard choices, even with 25 slots... I had to drop a spirit beast, and drop my plans for a parrot herd.

I'm a new hunter, I'm not even lvl 80 yet (No, i don't have loque yet ). The pets I am attached to, are in the first 2 rows, I don't really care about the rest.
I'm really looking forward to the yellow beetles (Gorishi) in Cata.

Now: King Krush, Loque'nahak, Arcturis, Skoll, Gondria, ghost worm, Old Cliff Jumper, Broken Tooth, Uhk'loc, Nuramoc

When CAT is released: Gezzarak, Ashtail

Level 85: Terrorpene, Ghostcrawler, Karoma

Which leaves me 10 slot for new skins

If I could kindly ask, where might I go to find a template similar to the ones I've seen you all using with the Petopia pics, without having to get Photoshop on my computer? And if that's possible, how do I manage to copy the pix over to the 5x5?

I have the grid template linked in the first post.

You can just use MS paint to copy the thumbnail images from the Petopia site, nothing fancy needed.

Edit- *Sigh* MS paint comes with the office suite doesn't it?

Edit2- As I don't have the MS Office suite, I'll be doing this the hard way...

2. Lupin -- After the HP character
3. Ictus -- Subject to change, pending on my luck to find KK. Latin for bite.
4. Montie -- Named after my cat that ran away, and got lost.
5. Quetzlun -- After the Loa in WoW
6. Espeon -- After Pokemon
7. Umbreon -- Espeon's Best friend, also after the Pokemon
8. Ungoliant -- Named after the Spider 'god' from LoTR/Middle Earth mythos
9. Vespa -- Latin for Wasp
10. Humar -- Named after the Rare I tamed.
11. Thirios -- Variation of the latin word for Beast, I believe.
12. Takk -- Named for the Rare I tamed.
13. Proudfang -- Play off of them being PRIDEwatchers, although pride in this sense means something dif.
14. Haarka -- Named after the Rare I tamed.
15. Remus -- Subject to change, Might become Karoma, while keeping name: Remus, Also after HP character
16. Firespore -- Non-Permanent spot, determining if we 'click' or not. Combination of Fire and Spore.
17. Tonitrus -- Latin for Thunder
18. Glaurung -- One of the eldest and greatest dragons in LoTR/Middle Earth Mythos.
19. Thorondor -- Subject to change into the Two-Headed blue Vulture. Will keep name, which is based off of the Greatest of the Giant Eagles in Middle Earth Mythos.

Planned Cata. Pets
20. Vellico -- Latin for Pinch.
21. Thracius -- Latin for Gem
22. Agamaggan -- Named after the Ancient of WoW lore
23. Deathsting -- Play on words, parody of Deathwing due to similar coloration
24. Tortolla -- Subject to change to Fiery Ancient Sea Turtle, keeps name, Named after Ancient in WoW Lore.
25. Vephriel -- I can't think of Gezz w/o thinking of Veph. However, if I decide to change her name, it'll be Twisted, which is what my original warpstalker's name was.

Notes:
-Vouran knows anything I do is only to help him. I'll be running him through lava in very short bursts to allow it to seep into his shell and body. When I say short, I mean only a couple seconds at a time. I'd never do anything to cause any long-term damage.
-Freyna is killed when Deathwing emerges. However, my cast of Revive Pet goes awry, resulting in her being brought back as a ghostly version of her former self. I never said I was a good spellcaster
-I spent 16 hours camping Arcturis for that tame. I found Gondria by complete accident while searching for rare mobs 3 days later...
-Tarneus was the first pet I ever tamed (at level 11, I was too lazy to run over to Loch Modan at 10), and has been my exclusive leveling pet since then. Even though I had a gorilladin back at 70, I still chose Tarneus to go from 70 to 80 with. Our bond is strong.

I enjoy hunting rares and difficult to get pets: p this expansion is going to be very interesting with the amount of unique rares! Will post a basic idea of my pet stables soon =)

If you're using a Windows OS Paint is a program that just comes default with the computer, it's not connected to Office at all.

Made a bunch of changes from my earlier planned pets thanks to all of the new beauties we've seen popping up since then.
(I had fun with my updated model viewer. lol)

Back to the drawing table for me. ;^; All those new pretty kittens!
