She's the Earth Mother and ruler of Deepholm, and yes, Theradras's mother. She's a bit cranky but not so bad. In earlier betas they actually gave her Theradras's model. I actually like her new one. It captures the whole fertility/earth thing, but in a kind of alien way. Her face has an almost inhuman grin. Kind of reminds you that she's not one of us.
Wait...THAT is who the Tauren's worship?! Good lord....she needs to lay of the crystal-twinkies....
A bit off topic, but I realized today what Therazane was reminding me of:
This is the Venus of Willendorf, she is one of the oldest pieces of art we have, dated from around 20,000 BCE. The common consensus on her is that she is a fertility figure, given the
ahem... emphasized areas of her body. She's very cute at just over four inches tall and is made of
limestone. Therazane also appears to be made of stone, and I notice also her large belly, and spindly arms and legs... Venus of Willendorf? I THINK SO!

*nods* I think Therazane and Theradras were always designed with those ancient fertility figures in mind.

If you tamed him on Lost Isles right before you posted here... and I tamed him on Lost Isles right before I posted here... that makes his spawn time around 2 hours... or maybe even sooner... considering he might have been there a little while before you got him.

They might very well have the spawn rate way up there at the moment to get some serious testing in. I'd be (pleasantly!) surprised if such speedy spawns carried through to live!

If you tamed him on Lost Isles right before you posted here... and I tamed him on Lost Isles right before I posted here... that makes his spawn time around 2 hours... or maybe even sooner... considering he might have been there a little while before you got him.
Cool as that is.....I highly doubt it'll stay that short.

I know that the look totally goes withe the name, but ANOTHER ghostly spirit beast?... I was hoping for something more unique for the fifth spirit beast. Hopefully the next one will have a bit more visual substance.

this one is't ghostly it's celestial...
i like it he's different the the other spirit beasts he seems to be some chemical poduct ^^

That's really cool!!! Thanks for the bit o' history, I love stuff like that. Though I still stand by my opinion that Therazane's face frightens me.

This. If I tame it at all. The new skin looks better yes. But I still think the was an extremely poor choice for a spirit beast. I wish I could complain to Blizz about it. Better yet, I wish they'd listen. Awesome for those who love it, please don't get me wrong. But there were much better beast choices to turn the new SB into then a crab.
