Another rare pet giveaway...

So it seems that if I go visit Terrorpene with the right intentions and a give him time to get ready...he will come out to play with me. This is the third time I have gone to Mount Hyjal to look for him with the hopes of giving him away. When I went to tame him myself I had to spend 14 hours camping. But about every other time I go to find him, if I wait 10 minutes, he shows up for me. This time my friend was online! She has a very old computer that can barely run a raid with deadly boss mods, so it's hard for her to sit and camp because she can't have an NPC finder addon. And I will admit...as patient as I am I don't think I really could sit and constantly stare at the screen for hours because that was the only way for me to see a rare mob. So, although I don't outright camp for her, I do make sure to fly by the spawn points of the rares she wants whenever I get the chance. Now that she has Terrorpene I am only on the lookout for Sambas for her.

4am, I get bored of camping Sambas for the last five hours, so headed up to Northrend to check on Arcturis and TLPD for no particular reason (I tamed and released Arc a long time ago, and proto-drakes are fugly, but a mount's a mount) Detoured to the Basin and Loque pops up on sonar.

I already have a Loque, so I yell at a lv80 hunter friend to come tame him. Luckily his HP is still in Dalaran, the majority of the wait was spent arguing with him to get a BM spec.

After he tamed it, there was much yay and zomghealingpet, and I went on my way towards Storm Peaks to check on TLPD... found Vyragosa's corpse in front of Ulduar, flew south and there was Skoll on the sonar. I have him too, so hailed the hunter friend again (luckily he hadn't had time to set his hearth to Org) and now he has the 'super saiyan beast' as well.

Still no Sambas, so I call it a night (morning, since it was almost 5:30am).

Came back from class, did some TH flybys, checked on Arcturis again (and tamed/released Aotona again, too bad I'm not much for parrots), the back to TH to the last spawn point of the flyby when NPCscan/Silverdragon start screaming at me about the big brown kitty down below.

Maybe it's karma, just glad I can stop staying up until stupid o'clock.
