I'm personally led to believe that it is, but I don't think that the other colors are so rare that you'll never see them. I think of the Madexx spawns either myself or some camping friends have seen, there have been:

Bronze - 4
Black - 1
Red - 2
Green - 1
Blue - 0

That's just of the ones we personally have seen either dead or tamed, it is by no means an accurate indicator of the spawn frequency of each color. But personal opinion? Bronze is the most common with the other colors not far behind.

AFK camping for 6 hours sofar today besides doing laps for another 2 hours... nothing.. sigh...

Dear Madexx,

I saw your black version killed by a hunter around an hour ago.

I just found Skoll a home with a nice lvl 80 dwarf hunter who had to escape Vash to get to Storm Peaks. My warlock dutifully stood guard over the spirit wolf while he made his way. The dwarf is very happy with his beautiful new pet.

Does that count towards very good karma and maybe enough to reward me with your blue skin?

Dear Madexx Im sorry i was 2 seconds to slow and even tho i dont belive he was sorry UNTILE he knew WHOS tame he killed the hunter did apologise the time i forgot to tag first 13 hour solid camp after giving away a green one at 4 am i lost whiile he was killed as i tried to tame

On a side note after that i nabed the Bright orange and teal raptor form barrens and named him thirteenhour the hunter did give me the tear how nice and offered 1000 gold apology im like 1000 gold wont get my 13 hours back and means another week or more of waitng for the red

it is soemone i know but never sought out a special pet in game >.< i explained that all BEASt rare sonly drop a 25 gold grey piece so to hopefully spare him from killing anyone elses tames

Red: 3 - number 3 was dead.
Black: 1
Blue: 1 (Was already tamed by another hunter though)
Green: 0
Bronze: 2

2 green (one by me one by the Be)
1 blue (by me)
2 black (1 alreayd tamed) and 1 killed
2 bronze (one dead) (one i gave away)
1 red (dead by hunter)

2 Bronze (one Tamed by me, one given to another Hunter)

C'mon Green.... Worst camp ever..

24hrs officially since I last seen/tamed Madexx.

No sign yet.

9:10 she spawned in Green! And did a dance for me! ! So happy! Never going back to that bloody desert again.

Gotta think of a good name now!

He leaves me to go in instance, I hes not in there 10 minutes when I turn round to a HUGE blue scorpid looking at me. YAY its Madexx! Oh but he's blue again I /w the hunter telling him to get here quick, he leaves group to teleport out and invite me. He appears bang next to Madexx and tame goes beautifully. We hug, say gz and good luck in other taming travels. I'm still waiting on my green - hopefully with some good karma now!

Oh but he's blue again I /w the hunter telling him to get here quick, he leaves group to teleport out and invite me. He appears bang next to Madexx and tame goes beautifully. I know I was so happy when I got Green Madexx today. You'll get it! Just keep camping, definitely worth the wait!

OMG grats Eleos!!! Woooooooot! You definitely deserved her after all that time you put in. I'm so happy for you!!!

On a related note, I missed a green Madexx last night. Blooddsurge did his best and held it for eight minutes (sending me frantic PMs here to log on), but when a DK flew by, stopped and turned around, he couldn't wait any longer out of fear it'd be killed, and had to tame it. It was still another seven minutes after that before I logged on.

Why? Because I decided to do dishes instead of log onto WoW. Had I not done dishes, I'd have been online in time. Ack. /headdesk

That's okay though, at this point I'm questioning why I'd even want green. I mean, at first, it was my most desired of the Madexxes. But now that I've got my black one, I can't imagine replacing him with a green one (or any other color, for that matter). So at this point, I think the only reason I even was wanting it was because it was green and would match me, but that's it. I don't honestly think I'd use it instead of Vulkoor, it would just sit in my stable looking pretty.

Plus, I keep just barely missing green. I'm never on when it spawns, I'm always just a few minutes away. I'm starting to think that me getting black was meant to be (just the whole story involving the tame...makes me feel more bonded to him), and that I keep missing the green for a reason. (Or maybe I'm putting too much thought into a bundle of cute pixels )

I'm happy Blooddsurge got her though, he's really happy with her.

Every time I see the blue one in the exact same place with a near perfect spawn timer - am I just camping the blue lol? Or is there a chance it will spawn as a different colour? Don't want to head back in x number of hours again if he's gonna be blue, don't want to put someone else off waiting for him It seems people come to look for him, see another hunter, grunt then leave lol xD Or that could just be Madexx madness starting >_>
